The Twin Chronicles.

KITT was sitting in silence in the garage. It had been 2 months since Violet had the twins. He loved being around them but didn't get to do it as much as he did with Violet. He missed her so much, he would keep replaying the memories over and over. If he were human, he would've been crying. Today, however, would be a little different.

"Thanks, Dad, I really appreciate it."

"Don't worry about it, besides, KITT is gonna love this."

"I bet he will. I'll be back later!" The sound of a door closing could be heard. Then, Michael and Bonnie walked in. Michael was holding Amber, and Bonnie was holding Nick Jr.

"Michael? Bonnie? What's going on? What are you doing with the twins?"

"Violet has to take Nick to the doctor, and it's all the way across town. So we get to babysit!" Bonnie giggled.

"Does that include me?"

"Of course it does! How about we take a drive?"

"Don't have to ask."

Once the twins were put in their car seats, Michael and Bonnie got inside and off they went. KITT left the driving to Michael because he was too busy smothering the twins with love. He used his robot hands to hold theirs. Not to mention stroking their heads or making sure their blankets were snug. The twins hardly even stirred, because he made them feel so comfortable that they did nothing but sleep.

"I see you haven't lost your touch, KITT," Bonnie commented.

"I've been anxious about this. I'm surprised I can be anxious at all."

"Well, over the years, perhaps you've become more human." Michael smiled.

"Perhaps you're right."

A few minutes later, Bonnie began cringing. "Michael, do you smell that?"

Michael sniffed the air and also cringed. "Ew….what is that?"

"Probably one of the twins."

Michael pulled into a gas station, and then both Michael and Bonnie took the twins inside. When they came back, they headed for home.

"KITT, why didn't you just let us change their dia-" KITT already knew what she was asking. She had asked the same question when Violet was a baby.

"I am not letting you change diapers in my cabin. I didn't let you do it with Violet and I won't let you do it with the twins."

"It's just changing diapers!" Bonnie argued.

"To you it is. To me, it's a matter of making sure no urine or fecal matter gets on my seats."

"Still the same old KITT." Bonnie smiled.

"I am not old, Michael, cars simply age when their parts get worn out. When replaced, however, we become younger in our operating. I run like new, the only thing that ages about me is my model and my value."

"Yup, still the same old KITT." Michael laughed. They returned home and waited for Violet. She came back not too long after they had gotten home. She went into the garage and talked with KITT.

"You really won't let them change their diapers in your backseat?"

"Forget it. It's not happening."

"I thought you liked babies."

"I do! But I don't like urine or fecal matter in my cabin!"

"Clean freak, are you?"

"Yes. You should be, too. I don't want my little sunshine to get sick!" He pinched her cheeks.

"Ow! KITT! Stop! I'm 26! I'm too old for this!"

"Not to me. You're still my little baby sunshine in my eyes."

"You don't have eyes."

"I can still use the phrase."

"Of course. Well, I should be taking the twins home."

"Violet?"

"Yes?"

"When will the twins come back?"

"In two weeks. We'll be having dinner here. Why?"

"No particular reason."

"You want another babysitting opportunity?"

"Yes."

"We'll see you in two weeks."

"I'll be waiting. My little sunshine."

"I'm too old for that nickname."

"Sure you are."
