Volume One: Yugi's Just Saiyan

A long time ago, in the deep cold of space, there was a huge explosion, the destruction of the homeworld of the illustrious warrior race, the Saiyans, planet Vegeta, had just occurred with very few survivors. And one such survivor was being pursued.

"Get back here, Saiyan!" shouted a voice into a device on his ear.

"You may be smarter than the average Saiyan for trying to run, but you'll die regardless, it is pointless to run…" Said a sadistic, more elegant voice into a device of his own

"Dodoria, Zarbon, shut up!" snapped the survivor. She had to get away, had she believed Bardock's warnings, she'd be free by now, she only had one way of getting away from these two, it was a gamble, but she had no other option, she increased the speed on her ship. The electronic systems began overloading, small explosions were occurring within the ship's inner workings, this gamble was taking its toll on it, but at least she was escaping.

It wasn't long before the monster responsible for the destruction of the planet made himself known to Dodoria and Zarbon, "Dodoria, Zarbon, why are you letting the Saiyan get away?"

"Lord Frieza, she is placing an enormous strain on her pod, so much so that at this rate, she's doomed herself, she'll do the job without us even needing to lift a finger…" Said a voice, most likely Zarbon said to the monster now known as Frieza.

"Hmm…yes! Your right! One Saiyan woman is no threat to the Frieza force, anyway, now, do disconnect her scouter, you two, don't want any eavesdropping and gossip, now do we…" Frieza said.

And just like that, all communication with the woman was then severed and she was completely isolated in the deep, dead cold of space. Like she gave a shit. All she cared about was that her gamble worked. And aside from the fear of death, she felt an indescribably exuberant sense of pleasure and excitement. She was no longer a slave. She was free. Free to do whatever she wanted. But first, she needed to land on a planet and that was if she even survived at all. However, she was still paranoid, so she kept her ship going as fast as it was, just to be safe, and set the coordinates for a planet Frieza would never consider as suitable for sale. A strange, alien world called…Earth. And as the planet came into view and entered its upper atmosphere, that was when she should have slowed down to conserve energy to use for the shields, and as a result, it was burning up in the atmosphere. Soon, it collided with the ground in a forest where it fell apart upon impacted with the surface of the planet, she, herself, barely surviving the crash as she crawled from the wreckage. The last thing she remembered was a black-haired, bespectacled teenager running towards her little crash site before she blacked out and she saw nothing more…for the time being.
