Based on those pictures of Harvey wearing a messenger bag. He looks REALLY good. ( /lennnaxoxo/status/1285298881841029123?s=19)
THE FIRST DAY
It's his first day of work in NYU. And he is lost. Freaking lost even if he has a map of the university in his hand.
Harvey Specter just transferred to New York, finally leaving his Boston hometown. Something about venturing out of his comfort zone, chasing horizons, and knowing what he wants in life. In short, he is trying to find himself. And in the middle of his journey to self-discovery, he lands a job in one of the top universities in the state. As a professor. Of Law.
Today is his first day and he is supposed to be meeting the head of faculty before starting with his classes. But he just can't seem to find the room where they're supposed to meet. He feels like he's been running in circles for the last thirty minutes, seeing the exact same benches he already walked past, and ending up in the exact same position where he started. 'What the fuck,' he thinks.
Wearing his favorite leather messenger bag over his shoulder, a folder of files on one hand and a map on the other, he starts walking again. But he's too focused on figuring out where he is that he didn't see the woman walking fast in his direction.
Bam!
The next thing he sees is her phone flying out of her hand and his files scattering on the ground.
Harvey quickly gathers his papers, uttering the words 'I'm so sorry' as he picks up her phone and hands it back to her. But he froze. Because he finally saw her. A woman dressed in blue, perfectly highlighting her hazel eyes and copper red hair. She's glowing, radiating a positive aura that calms his nerves.
She reaches for her phone and says, "It's fine. My phone is already used to it. Don't worry." She gives him a smile.
"Are you okay?" He asks her, looking a bit more concerned than usual.
"Yeah, yeah. You?" She replies, adjusting the coat on her shoulders.
It takes him a moment to answer, but soon composes himself. "I'm fine. Just a bit lost."
She tries to peek at the map he is holding, "Oh, where are you going? Maybe I can help."
"I'm looking for the faculty room. I've been here last week but I forgot the way around and this map isn't helping me at all." He says, scratching his head as he tilts the map in her direction so she can take a look.
She laughs at his response. "It's straight down this hall," she points behind her. "The last room to your right, that's it."
He's supposed to look at the direction she's pointing but he can't seem to take her eyes off her. He just blindly replies, "Right. Thank you!"
The woman then checks her watch, "Shoot. I really have to go. See you around." She waves at him, briskly walking away.
Harvey stays rooted in place, too stunned with the beautiful redhead he just met. 'I didn't even get her name," he thinks.

THE NEXT DAY
Harvey opens the door to the faculty room, just as Donna was leaving the room. Luckily, they are able to stop before they bump into each other again. They stared at each other, then they both laughed.
"Is this gonna be a thing?" With a grin on his face, he signals between the two of them. Then he pauses, mouth hanging slightly open, thinking his words may have come off differently, "I mean– bumping into each other."
She chuckles, "Well, I hope not. I don't want my phone to fly again." She waves the device in front of his face.
Looking down sheepishly, he apologizes, "Sorry again about that." He offers his hand, "I'm Harvey."
"Donna." She shakes his hand, "I'm guessing you're the new professor?"
"I am. Law." His answer is short, his mind can't keep up with the feeling of her hand in his. "Hey, uhm. Is it okay if I ask you out for coffee?" He closes his eyes quickly, scolding himself for asking another confusing question. "I mean, uhm, my treat," he stutters. "Apology for yesterday's inconvenience. And for sending your phone flying."
She tries to fight the smile forming on her lips, but she fails when she sees how nervous he is. "You don't have to do that." Then she witnesses how his mouth falls into a slight frown, so she quickly adds, "But I also do need my latte fix. Monday next week?"
Donna didn't even bother to wait for his answer, leaving Harvey in the room, completely dazed.

A WEEK AFTER
They found themselves seated at a small round table by the window of the coffee shop, laughing as they remember their first meeting.
"You should have seen your face when the papers started flying around," Donna teases, taking a sip of her coffee.
"It wasn't my finest moment I admit. That morning was crazy," he shakes his head. "But you. Why were you in such a hurry? You joined a race or something?" He asks her, smiling widely, proud of his teasing retaliation.
She shrugs, "I was running late for a meeting with the head of a theater company. I invited them to watch my students perform on our socials night on Friday, see if anyone is up for a scholarship." She offers him a weak smile.
He nods at her, "Right. The socials night. I guess I'll see you again on Friday, huh?"
"Sure." Then she tilts her head to the side, "And all the days before that because we work together, Harvey." Eyes widening as she finishes her sentence.

A YEAR LATER
It's the first day of classes. Another school year has started. Harvey is too busy putting folders in his bag that he didn't see the woman walking fast in his direction.
Bam!
The next thing he sees is her losing her balance and about to fall backwards. But today, he catches her, hands holding onto her arms just below her shoulders.
He laughs, "We have got to stop meeting like this." His hands then move to her waist, wrapping them around her.
"Are you lost professor?" She teases him, hands toying with his tie.
He is quick to answer now. No more flying phones and scattered papers. Just his lips on hers. "Not anymore."
