Twilight Sparkle and Timber Spruce are married and Twilight and Sunset are running CHS. But this year is the year of stories, where the EGs tell the next gen(basically when Twilight and the EGs grow up) their story, including Friendship Games, the infamous Anon-a-miss and obviously, Forgotten Friendship.

chapter 1: Canterlot High, here we come!

Tomorrow was the first day back for Canterlot High School and everyone was excited to be returning to the popular but local comprehensive. The person most excited was Tara Sentry-Shimmer, Sunset Shimmer's daughter, who was transferring from Crystal Prep to Canterlot High for her Sophomore. Tara and Tom were twins, starting Sophomore. Tom had already been there for Freshman, whilst his sister went to Crystal Prep Academy, a very prestigious school in the city. But that night, the Sentry-Shimmer family were staying at a friend's, the Spruces, Twilight Sparkle and Timber Spruce and their 10th grade daughter, Ashleigh(Ash)Spruce(who went to CHS) and their 11th grade daughter Daffodil(Daffy) Spruce and 12th grade daughter, Rose(Rosie) Spruce(who both went to CPA). Tara was friendly with Ashleigh, as they went to Canterlot Elementary School together and also, they always went to the Rainbooms reunion, sitting in a spare room, whilst waiting for the Rainbooms to finish catching up and recording songs. But anyway, that's enough. Tara untied her wavy blue hair(which she inherited from Flash) and climbed into a bed next to Ashleigh.

The next day, Ashleigh and Tara walked down to find their parents talking with the Rainbooms and Fluttershy's fiance, Nightstar(Who happened to be Sunset's younger brother by 1 minute). Fluttershy and Nightstar had been dating since they were Juniors, when Nightstar had been persuaded by Sunset to learn about friendship. Tara slung her black backpack over her shoulder and Ashleigh slung her purple satchel over hers, ready for a new year ahead at Canterlot High.

Hello! Chapter 2 is called Princess Twilight's visit. An extract:

Twilight Sparkle and Sunset Shimmer pushed open the office door. Sunset was looking for her notes on the time they first met Princess Twilight Sparkle. She rifled through her documents, looking through every folder. "You okay, mom?" asked Tom. "Can I help?" Sunset shook her head.

"I'm fine," replied Sunset, smiling at her son. "Go on, off you trot. We'll meet you in the gym. Why don't you show your sister around while you're waiting?"

Tom nodded and sprinted out of the room. Sunset sighed. "Here." she said, holding up the notes.
