Authors Note:: since Cold For September got such a lovely response, I decided to start another slash fiction, just make it different. The first couple of chapters are the routine thing that we all love, but there will be some twists about chapter four I'm thinking. Be sure to review, and maybe you'll get a cookie? At least a chapter dedicated to you! For this story it'll be Squid/Zig again, they're my favorite couple, I just think that they are so perfect for each other!!

Little droplets of sweat trickled down Squids face, making his lips taste even saltier and his thirst greater. The water truck was late, and everyone's canteens were empty. He stopped digging just for a second to look up for the water truck when someone caught his eye.

Zig Zag stood outside of his hole, wearing no shirt.

Squid's heart seemed to stop at the sight of his finely chiseled muscles from all the digging, and his flat stomach. It sent a small shiver up his spine and made him forget about the thirst for a while.

"SQUID! I SAID, THE WATER TRUCK IS HERE!"

Magnet was yelling in his ear, and he sounded mad. Grinning stupidly, Squid stumbled out of his hole and took his place in line. Zig Zag stood behind him. He could his Zig breathe and it made him want nothing more to turn around and make him even more breathless. Mr. Sir filled his mild jug and he jumped back int his hole.

Dig, Scoop, Toss, Dig, Scoop, Toss, Dig, Scoop, and Toss.

He was trying not to focus on Zig Zag who was now walking past his hole. Squid caved just in time to see him jump into his hole. His bottom jiggled ever so slightly whenever he moved his hair dislocated itself every time the wind blew a little hot breeze on them.

"Hey Zig!"

"Yeah?" asked Zig Zag, straightening so his face could be seen.

"Uh. can I talk to you later?" Squid asked, stalling. He didn't know what to say to him, he just wanted to see him and hear him. He had never felt like this before, and he never wanted this to go away.
