Dreams of Eden

We dreamed of a place
So bright and fair.
A place where all
Were happy there.

An Eden was our dream,
The crew and I,
A place where all
Would no longer die.

No more hatred,
Death nor pain.
A place where hope
Would never wane.

This place we see,
Is it just a dream?
Death is our nature,
Or so it would seem.

Someday soon,
We'll find our place.
If it takes us to
The edge of space.

And so we continue
Upon our way.
Til we find our Eden,
Our home, we'll stay.
