A Surprise for Everybody
Kagome and Sango were standing outside by their favorite oak tree talking waiting for the bell to ring. Kagome was wearing a tan skirt that came a little above her knees with a white tank top and a clue jean jacket that had Hells Fire written in purlpe flames on the back. There were guys playing catch across the yard, the jocks hanging out with the cheerleaders, and the nerds were talking about sci-fi. The other kids were having random conversation.
"So Kagome how was your vacation?"
"I stayed with my grandmother on my mother's side, she lives in West Virginia. We went camping and my granfather taught me how to hunt, much to my mother's disproval but hey i enjoyed it. Oh yea that reminds me." Kagome opened her trunk and pulled out a bag and handed it to Sango.
"I made this for you. My grandmother taught me how to do embroidery. Do you like it?"
" Oh my God yes! It's beautiful. i love how detailed it is. This must have taken you like forever to do." She said as she ran her fingers over the design."
Sango held the jean jacket and traced over her name in the middle. Surrounding it were little cherry blossom petals that were hot pink her favorite color. She gave Kagome a bone crushing hug and put the jacket on. She modeled it for her and Kagome clapped saying she looked fabulous.
"Thanks Kag this is the best gift anyone has ever given me."
" No problem. Anything for my best friend."
She smiled and gave Sango another hug. Just then Miroku and Kouga walked up with another guy with them. he was wearing light blue jeans with a red t-shirt and a pair of vans. His hair was a silvery white and he had a pair of dog ears on top of his head. What striked Kagome the most was his eyes. They were a soft gold like honey when the light hits it.
'Those eyes...Why does it look like I've seen them before?' Kagome thought
"Nice jacket Sango." Miroku said feeling on her backside. Sango turned around real fast and smacked him really hard and he fell to the ground.
" Don't you EVER, EVER put your hands on me again you hear me. You pervert."
" You'll never learn will you Miroku." Kagome said shaking her head.
" Oh my sweet Sango why do u hurt me so? You know my hand has a mind of its own." He said as he got upnholding his cheek.
"A mind of its own my ass." Sango said under her breath.
" Inuyasha sweetie." Kikyo called running to give him a kiss.
'Inuyasha? Wait that can't be Sesshomaru's little brother. Its been so long since we've last seen each other. I wonder if he still remembers me.' Kagome thought.
Inuyasha turned around and embraced Kikyo in his arms and he bent down and kissed her. Sango rolled her eyes and Kagome just stared at them.
"Yasha is that you? Kagome said walkinf up to them after they finished kissing.
Inuyasha's ear twitched and he looked upmat the girl in fromt of him. He looked Kagome up and down with a sense of familiarity. He glanced at her smooth sunkissed skin and slightly well defined face. From her full pouty lips and petite nose and sapphire blue eyes. When he looked at her eyes he froze.
"Sakura?"
Kagome shook her head yes and smiled brightly.
"I can't believe it!" Inuyasha exclaimed. "Its been years since I've last seen you." He said giving her a big hug. He oicked her up in a bear hug and buried his nose in the crook of her neck breathing in her scent.
"Yes it has. How have you been? Where have you been and why haven't you contacted me?"
"Ive been in Georgia with my grandmother. As you kniw my brother and i never got along when i was younger so my mom thought it would be best if we hd some space. I'm sorry if i knew i definitely would have let you know before hand." He said holding her hands.
"Its ok i forgive you. You know i cant stay mad at you especially since younhave these cute ears." Kagome said as she rubbed them.
At that moment Kikyo cleared her throat withban annoyed look on her face.
Inuyasha let go of Kagome and stepped back a scratching his head.
"Hey Kikyo you know Kagome right? We go way back."
"Yea i know her." She said with distain
"Kiky-hoe" kagome said which caused sango to snicker.
"Watch it bitch our your gonna get whats coming to you ."she said
"Whatever slut. So Yasha are you back for good now?" Kagome asked dismissing Kikyo.
"Dont dismiss me bitch." Kikyo said angrily
Kagome just steadily ignored her.
"Don't you hear me talking to you wench?" Kikyo said
Kagome gave her and evil glare stepping closer in her face. Kagome's eyes turned a lighter shade of blue.
"Come again" kagome said as Kikyo began to step back.
Kikyo saw the look in her eyes and it made her uneasy.
" Just as I thought nothing. Your nothing more than a scared little girl."
Kagome turned around and started to walk away when Kikyo pushed her. Right there was mistake number one. Kagome turned around and smaked Kikyo across the face .
"Keep your slutty hands off me"
" Why you little wench." She saidangrily
Kikyo went to take a swing at Kagome but Inuyasha stopped her in time.
"I dont know what feud y'all have, but im not gonna sit here and let ya'll fight."
Kikyo calmed down in his arms and he let her go.
"Good now shake hands."
"Are you serious! Im not shaking her hand." Kikyo said
Inuyasha gave her a stern look and she caved in.
"Fine." she said sticking out her hand.
Kagome just looked at her and Inuyasha.
"Im not gonna have yall fight on my first day back. And if you're really friend you would shake her hand." He said.
" alright but you sure do know how to pick them Inuyasha." She grabbed kikyos hand.
Kikyo gave a little smirk and her hand glowed a bright pink shocking Kagome.
' Kikyo No!" Sango yelled noticing at the last second Kikyos to deceit. Kagome pulled back her hand and started shaking. You can smell burnt flesh in the air. Kagome's eyes were icy blue and her pupils were white. Kagome's aura was violently thrashing around her causing Kouga and Inuyasha to step back. Kikyo was frozen in place. Kagome's hair was flying madly in the wind. Kagome stared Kikyo directly in her eyes. Icy blue meeting terrified brown. As quick as lightning Kagome had her hand around Kikyo 's neck and had her up in the air.
" I'm going to show you what's its like to mess with me."
" Kagome please put her down." Sango said.
Kagome' started grip got tighter around Kikyos neck.
" Please stop." She cried
" Kags stop!" Boomed a familiar vice.
"Huh? Sesshomaru?" Kagome said slowly coming out of the trance
" Yeah its me . Now snap out of it." He said softly.
The pain in her left hand shot up her arm making her mad all over again.
" NNOOOO!" Kagome's mind went blank once again.
She threw Kikyo into the tree half way across the yard causing some students to look in their dire tion. Coming out of her episode Kagome fell to her knees.. Sesshomaru caught her before her head hit the floor. He helped her up and tried to see if she was ok to stand. She looked around at her friends faces and saw that they were shocked.
" What happened?"
"Well you threw Kikyo half way across the yard." Sango said pointing to the tree that she was thrown too.
Inuyasha was at her side helping her up.
" And I think you got her good."
"Man ive never seen you like that before. Remind me to never get on you bad side." Kouga said.
" here Sesshomaru let me take her to the bathroom so she can wash her face off." Sango said trying to support her.
"I'll help you bring her inside ." Sesshomaru said putting Kagome's arm around his neck while he and Sango held her by her waist. They started walking her to the building .
"I'll see you later in class Kagome?" Miroku yelled as they walk away.
" That's if I go." She yelled back.
Miroku laughed to himself and he and Kouga went to their lockers.
Nobody knew that Kagome was telekinetic, and a very strong one at that. The only people who know about this secret are Sango and Sesshomaru. They have been helping her try to control her powers before by they took control of her. With everything that just happened her friends will soon find out that she's much more then your ordinary Miko.
