"Dear my love, haven't you wanted to be with me?

Dear my love, haven't you wanted to be free?

I can't keep pretending I don't even know you

I have dreamt of a place for you and I

No one knows who we are there

All I want is to give my life fully to you

I've dreamt so long I cannot dream anymore"

-Anywhere

"Anakin."

He heard a voice calling his name. It was so gentle, warm even. It was not what he thought death would be like. A release? Perhaps. Happiness? Not likely. But here was a voice calling to him, a voice that sounded so warm.

The Force surrounded him, filled his spirit as he once had been. There had been grief and pain. Fear and anger. It had consumed him even as he had lost the dregs of his humanity. The last fragments of his self.

"Ani."

The voice called again, warm, sweet and safe, and this time he knew who it was.

Beyond reason, reason all chance or probability, he saw her, heard her. She was there before him, arms outstretched smiling gently to him.

A place inside his chest heave as he felt the presence of her love, of her very being, fill him. Starting in what served as his eyes, this feeling, warm and real and so truly love, filled him deeper in parts the Force could never reach.

He loved her. He had always loved her. His fear for her had driven him to madness and darkness, but that same love had left the key to his salvation. Their love had saved him in the end. And he loved her so much, just as he felt her love for him overflowing as she called his name.

He ran to her arms then, their spirits meeting as one, two heart rejoicing.

"Padmé."

"Take my hand

We're leaving here tonight

There's no need to tell anyone

They'd only hold us down

So by morning's light we'll be halfway to anywhere

Where love is more than just your name"
