I am Lord Voldemort.
I rearrange the letters in my name one day just to stave off first the pain and then boredom of this idiotic situation. Why can't they see how easy it is? It is so simple. A child could do it. But then, they are children, and they haven't a clue.
The answer is right in front of them.
I shake my head and return to my puzzle, and there it is, right in front of me.
I am…
I stare at the letters remaining, moving them around. Another word appears.
Lord…
Slowly, I move the last ones, trying and rearranging.
Voldemort…
From out of nowhere, it suddenly hits me.
Flight of Death…
Voldemort is French for Flight of Death. Perfect.
I like that: Flight of Death.
I wish I could fly away from death, from pain. I suffer, and they don't see. I scream, and they don't hear. So many are dying, and they don't even notice.
In the background, they are talking, arguing over whatever nonsense that seems to be currently holding their interest. They are all like sheep, bleating, blathering on about nothing, while the wolf sneaks up from behind.
And they never even notice. Their world, our world, slips and falls a bit more every day. Evil shrouds us everywhere. Lies. Treachery. Betrayal. Decay. Death.
They are too concerned with purity of blood and placing wizards above all else that they fail to recognize talent when they see it. They fail to see genius when it is so readily apparent. They fail to notice anything save their own wants and desires.
Corruption. They are corrupt. They let innocents suffer and die. They leave children with monsters and expect everything to be all right in the end. But it never is.
And what does the Ministry do?
Nothing. It does nothing. It is only concerned with the status quo. And the Minister. What a bloody joke. He is nothing. He is an idiot, a fool of the grandest design.
What we need is a real leader.

Wait, Lord… That's it. That is what I need. What we need is a leader. A real leader.
Lord Voldemort…
I could be that leader. I could show them. I could change the world
But I can't do it alone. I need helpers, followers, a rebellion… a revolution.
Yes, that is exactly what I will do.

They are bleating again, but I ignore them. I now have far more important things to do. I have a revelation to plan, a revolution to start.
