"You can't hold out any longer—you know you can't." I smirked.
He just squinted a bit and then replied with a devious grin. Our eyes stayed locked onto each other. He's so going down. It's been about a minute or so, I think.
I can see his eyelids straining to stay open. His eyes are such a pretty shade of blue.
We were sitting across from each other at the café. It is a random Sunday and here we are, neither one of us have touched our root beer floats (or fries) and we're having a staring contest.
"Will that be all?" The waitress finally asked. I could see her from the corner of my eye; she'd been standing there for a while watching us.
Without looking away from my eyes Sora asked, "Actually, can we have two banana splits afterwards?"He flashed me one of his cheesy grins. I guess we are seeing who can stand the cold longer too.
"Yeah sure." She jotted it down and then left us there to finish our contest.
We do this sometimes—I know, we're weird. It's a really cold (actually FREEZING cold) day, we're both in shorts and yet we're outside having root beer floats and a bunch of ice cream.
Sora stopped smiling and tried putting on a straight face. His left eye was starting to twitch; it was really hard trying to stop myself from laughing.
Two minutes now.
We may be out here for quite a while. I don't mind.
My bestfriend and I were having a random staring contest at IN-n-OUT today, so..I don't know. lol. This was purely out of boredom.
