The Legend of Naruto
And the demon with nine tails came and he
Destroyed the land with his fire of hell.
Those who stood against him fell at his paws.
Those who ran from him met a fiery death.
Men, women, children were, mercilessly
Slaughtered and burned in one fiery stroke.
Cries of agony rose from land, and
The blood of the people made the ground red.
Warriors stood and warriors fought, but
In the end it seemed that all was for naught.
Until one man, a powerful ninja
Emerged to protect his land and people.
He was called Hokage, fourth of his kind,
And his purpose was to protect the land.
So for his people, he faced the demon
And did not stand down, though his foe was great.
Though he fought hard, he was defeated, and
The people lamented, for hope was lost,
But the fourth was no fool, he had a plan.
He gave his life, and sealed the demon
Into his only son, not even born.
He willingly gave his life to save them,
And what did his people do in return?
They treated his only child, Naruto,
The infant infused with the fox demon,
Like he was a monster, demon himself.
So from the start, Naruto had no one.
His father, killed to save the people who
Now treated him like he was scum, was dead.
His mother, weakened from childbirth, had died,
And Naruto, newly born, was alone.
So begins the tale of Naruto's strife.
