Twins

-Just because they were identical twins didn't mean they liked each other.

"Okay class! Settle down!"

Pale milky eyes glared heatedly at the boy across from where the person was seated.

"Today we'll be practicing . . ."

Likewise another set of very similar eyes glared heatedly right back.

". . . a, more or less, important skill of a shinobi."

The aforementioned set of eyes belonged to a rather diminutive ten-year-old boy as all boys were rather short during their time in shinobi academy. The boy was pale and owned long dark chocolate hair that fell down to his back and stopped short at his behind. He was garbed in a white yukata with a gray sash.

"This skill is known as . . ."

The other ten year old was a mirror image of the first boy with the exception that this boy wore black pants, a black shirt and a black long sleeved mesh shirt underneath.

". . . drawing!" The teacher continued on. "As you all can plainly see I've seated all of you across from one another, this assignment is one that requires you to sketch out that person. You will only have one sheet of paper, one pencil and one eraser. So try not to mess up."

The two boys glaring at each other glared harder.

"I expect these pictures to be drawn well with complete accuracy. They are to be handed in by the end of this period."

A collective groan reverberated within the library walls.

The two boys didn't seem to notice.

"And begin!" The teacher sat down at a table to himself. He pulled out some papers and began to grade them with a handy red marker. 'Heh. This should keep the little brats busy for a while.' Umino-sensei thought gleefully.

Five Fs and two Ds later he looked up to observe the progress of his students. All of them were concentrating hard trying to draw, with great detail, one another – what the? The teacher squinted. Two of the kids weren't drawing! With a regretful sigh, Umino-sensei got up from his chair and made his way towards the two students. "Hizashi. Hisashi." He called out squaring himself. "Why aren't you two drawing?"

Hizashi (or was is Hisashi?) looked up. "I am afraid I am unable to do so Umino-sensei."

The teacher quirked an eyebrow. "And that is because . . . ?"

"He's too ugly."

". . . . . ." Umino-sensei blinked then blinked again. "Pardon . . . ?"

The Hyuuga clan heir rolled his eyes impatiently. "I said Hisashi is too ugly to draw."

"Am not!" Hisashi growled.

"Are too!"

"Am not!"

"Are too!"

"Am not!"

"Are - !"

"Quiet!" The teacher snapped.

The two boys fell silent.

Umino-sensei sighed. 'They aren't paying me enough for this job.' "First of all. You two are twins. Second of all I can't see any difference."

Hisashi jumped up and pointed an accusing hand at his sibling. "His nose is HUGE!"

"His eyes are squinty." Hizashi retorted standing up with a glare.

"He's sickly pale!"

"He's short!"

"He smells funny!"

"His voice is nasally!"

"He looks like . . ."

Umino-sensei closed his eyes and grasped his forehead. 'Why me?' He thought with a sigh. He should've called in sick.
