Disclaimer: I don't own Randy or Lita

Hey there guys this is just a little short Lita/Randy one-shot that popped into my head earlier while I was thinking about life in general. This one is especially for ShadowShawnna. Enjoy.

Prince Charming

Lita was lying on the couch in her locker room with her nose buried in a book. It was a book about a princess being hunted and captured by a big bad villain only to be rescued by her heroic prince charming. She loved this book, she'd read it at least 100 times already and the pages were a little dog eared and worn.

As she read she thought about how much 'prince charming' reminded her of Randy. He looked like the perfect hero with his baby blue eyes that she could stare into forever, his beautiful bright smile and his big strong arms that could protect her from anything. He was definitely her prince charming.

She supposed that would make Adam the big bad villain. She laughed softly to herself; she could picture him in a long black cape, laughing a cartoonish 'evil' laugh. The part of the villain had always suited him whether he would admit it or not.

She really couldn't see herself as a princess though, princesses were supposed to be innocent and pure but she'd spent her whole life being told she neither of those things. Her family thought she was nothing but a slut and had called her so more times than she could count. The fans only ever saw one side of her so it was no wonder they thought she was just a cheating skank. The only person who had ever tried to see her for who she really is was Randy. She knew Randy loved her and that scared her a little.

Matt had loved her but she had done everything she could do sabotage that love. Then she'd ended up with Adam, the one person who could never love anyone but himself. Sometimes she felt like she didn't even deserve to be loved. She wasn't good enough to be happy. Randy was the only person who knew that she felt like this and he was the one who was there for her when she would spend hours in her hotel room crying and hating herself.

He was the one who'd stopped her when she'd wanted to give up on everything and had gone up to the roof. She'd written him a note, telling him that she couldn't handle being who she was and that nothing mattered anymore. She remembered how scared he looked when he saw her standing at the edge. He'd begged and pleaded with her not to do it, then with tears spilling down his face he stood beside her. He told her that if she was going to jump then he would have to go too because he couldn't live without her. She'd broken down in tears as he lifted her into his arms and carried her to her room then he held her while she cried herself to sleep.

She wondered if Adam really was the villain of her story or if she was her own worst enemy. Her thoughts were interrupted when Randy walked into the room.

"Hey baby, what were you daydreaming about?" he asked as she stood up and threw her arms around his neck

"My prince charming" she said as she gave him a long lingering kiss.
