When they had met he had been dying.

The journey between the sound and the leaf was a difficult one. Half way through he had had to stop. Illness

sinking in and causing his body to weaken. He couldn't die just yet however, he had a goal and was determined to achieve it. They had met when he had been resting against a tree. She had been training. Stumbling upon him she had no idea what his intentions were. All she saw was a person in need. So she helped him with her home made medicine and just to humor he conversed. The time was short however and he had something to do. However he felt himself a bit hesitate to leave. This feeling was different, unlike others she had taken in interest in him, not his power. He had found they had many things in common and found himself becoming attached. It would never be however. The least they could do was exchange names.

"What is your name?" He questioned before he left.

She had smiled, one that made him feel warm inside in a way he thought only Orochimaru could.

"H-Hinata...and y-yours is?"

In the sun, that's what her name was. It was fitting as the warmth he felt could be compared to sunlight falling upon one's skin. The least he could do was grace his name upon her. After all it wouldn't matter, they would probably never meet again.

"Kimimaro."

"Can we meet again?"

"We'll see."

Somehow though, even she knew that this was the first and last time she would see him. Whatever was between them would never take growth. Never be explored. Whatever happiness could have been obtain with it would never happen.

Thus they settled for the small moment given to them.
