Auther Notes
Thought, it would be a good idea to give the background to the poem which i've written, as it doesn't really give that clear and idea about what exactly is going on. In my mind when i was writing it, I imagined there being not so much a relationship, but more an unspoken love existing between Snape and Hermione. The poem is about the final battle and is written from Snapes point of view as he observes the events. Hope you all like it :) and please leave a comment if you with any critcism or advice cause it's always welcome!

Light
Even now in this evil place,
Pain screaming from every face,
Life falling, Demons smiling,
As light meets dark in this final
embrace.
My heart breaks,
As i see her face, so young,
So, so young, Her youth's afraid.
Bloodied battles not where she belongs,
An angelic presence,
Whose love fills the room.
Even in my dark corner,
Her light shines through.
I wish to save her,
Wish to hold her one more time,
Whisper softly my sweet embrace.
But that's not what we're here for.
We are war, we are death.
We are silence no longer repressed.
Darkness' curtain soon shall fall,
But who of us, if any will see the
light?
Friends lie broken,
Enemies dead.
She takes her stance,
Her miltant dance.
I watch with flickering eyes,
As she dances with the enemy fire,
Her light shines, with each hit she
makes,
A fire, a passion, a willing
surrender...
She knows her fate, knows her end,
It's stands before her,
A man I once called brother,
Who now is but a monster.
She takes her place,
Dances to the tune of his fire,
But the serenade quickens, So
She can no longer resist it,
I watch her fall,
like autumn's folige,
her eyes still question Why?
While her hair cascades to catch her.
And as my torn flesh Calls for her,
From the depth of my broken heart.
I know it's whispered plee,
Shall be ignored.
Again, I feel the daggers bleed,
My blood on the broken floor.
Again, I feel Death's solitary embrace,
Calling to my tarnished soul.
Her Beauty unscathed,
Though Her last breath has been drawn.
A martyr for innocene,
Her memory shall go on.
The battle is over,
Light has overcome,
But how can this be,
How are we free?
As love lies dead,
My final breath i take,
Silent eyes meeting across the field,
I see her light before me now.
