Liar Liar

cap'n coree

She won't admit shes jealous when his eyes rove up and down other women, like they're so much more to them than her.

He won't admit that he watches her when she's watching the ronin, and he hates not knowing whats between them.

She won't admit that she hates watching him walk off to satisfy his needs at a brothel, not knowing when he'll come back, or if he will.

He won't admit that he bites her name off his tounge when he's laying with his whores.

She won't admit that she waits up for him, anxious to see if he returns or not.

He won't admit that he rushes himself to get back.

She won't admit that she picks fights with him over nothing to vent her jealousy and rage. Once he comes in the door, she'll find something to yell about, it doesn't matter what.

He won't admit he knows what the real problem is, he'll just raise his voice and shout insults back. He'll never let her see how much it hurts when she screams-

"I HATE YOU MUGEN!" she shouted, launching her sandal at his head, "Why do you always have to be- be so- PIGGISH!"

"I hate you too." he replied smugly, dodging nimbly as she launched anything she could get her hands on at his head. He'll never admit that he didn't mean it. By this time they had woken Jin up, and he had left to seek peace where there was less noise and flying objects. 'Good,' Mugen would think, when they fought, she was entirely his. Sooner or later she leaves, in a fit of tears, after too many insults have been said, and "I hate you's" sung. He always went after her. It didn't matter. When she was in mortal perl, he followed. He came for her more often than Jin ever would. He would never admit that he lived to save her.

So when she storms out of the hotel room, he follows, he finds her. But he never finds her alone. So he watches from the shadows as she'll sob into his shoulder. Clutch onto his sleeve. And just like a fairy tale- they're playing all their parts. Jin will always be the hero, Fuu always the damsel in distress, and Mugen the piggish ogre or dragon, constantly torturing the poor princess. He'll watch as she cries and snuffles her self to sleep in Jin's arms and turn to walk away, always hoping that one day, the dragon will be the hero. But he'll never admit it.

A.N. This one was kinda poorly thrown together, I'm afraid. I was kinda sleepy when I wrote it right after watching S.C. last night. Hellhounds for Hire part 2. I thought it was funny how Mugen came back for Fuu even though he didn't have to. Cute even.
