Summary: "Oi, Nami, I think Sanji's drinks really work!"

She was falling. The harsh waves had hit Going Merry hard, tossing anything that wasn't securely fastened off the deck. She had been too occupied with her nakamas to even realize the danger of her own safety; she could hear them calling her name as she fell, and the distinguishable Gomu Gomu cry from her Captain. She could feel him, one hand gripping her securely around the waist, his other grasping her hand tightly. She squeezed his hand as tightly as she could, the wind knocking her one way and Luffy pulling her another.

She could smell the familiar scent of straw and sunlight when she woke up, the mixture making her hazy as she opened her eyes. She could feel his treasure on her head, and when she pushed it back, she could see the pleased grin of her Captain beaming down on her. "Oi, Nami, I think Sanji's drinks really work! Your skin is soft, that's probably why it was so hard to grab on to you..."

"Baka, it was the rain," she answered weakly to his rambling, pushing the straw hat over her eyes, shielding Luffy's smiling face from her view. She could feel his calloused hands touch hers, the gentlest reassurance of protection. The moment was gone faster then it came, as Luffy innocently replied with a laugh, "I don't think so, you do have nice skin… but when you're wet, you're slippery like a fish!"
"Who are you calling a fish?"
