A/N: Constructive concrit very welcome.

The ocean swallowed him up, and he went willingly. The water rushing through his hair and swirling around his body felt comforting, like lying in bed curled up in his blankets half asleep. Yes, he could give it all (although he had nothing) up for this. Except he'd not even be able to enjoy this feeling forever, he thought as he held his breath as long as he could, to prolong the joyous feeling of drifting away from everything. He allowed himself to let go until everything grew fuzzy and distant, and then he knew no more.

"…up, Sasuke! Breathe…" He heard from a great distance. He wanted to tell the person to shut up, but he felt like a great pressure prevented him from moving even an inch. He felt so cold and confused; he couldn't even open his eyes. He felt hands surrounding his body, the feel of something soft pressing onto his lips, and warm air gusted down his throat and into his lungs.

In his mind he saw a light, and it was so beautiful that he started walking towards it. It wasn't worth the effort to wonder who was trying to breath life back into him. There was nothing left but the light and then no more annoying distractions.

"BREATHE, DAMMIT! I won't let you die!" There was a great pressure against Sasuke's wet and frozen torso, and he felt something rising in his chest. He looked towards the light and the person's words were resounding in his head. He recognized that voice. It was the voice he'd never thought to hear again. He wasn't sure he really wanted to hear them, but he couldn't deny he was curious. Was it worth it just to find out? The light was so beautiful.

Sasuke jerked away from it, and water shot out of his lungs and then he was alive, turning on his side with the help of supporting arms and coughing ocean out.

Once the water was out of his lungs and he was breathing, he weakly leaned back into the comforting arms and looked up into the face of the one he'd thought he'd lost forever.

"You're here." He said hoarsely. Itachi held onto him tightly and looked confused, angry and worried all at the same time, Sasuke watching him in shocked disbelief, wondering at the emotions he found there where once there was only fake smiles and cold, red glares.

"What were you thinking, Sasuke? Don't you ever do that again. You could have died!" I could have lost you.

Sasuke only nodded and allowed his brother to take him inside and wrap him in his warm comforter.

He was dreaming, he thought as he lay in a heap on Itachi's bed. Sasuke felt for a moment he should have gave in to the light, but as he fell asleep to his most important person combing their hands through his hair, he decided he wouldn't give this chance up, ever again.
