A/N: First Prison Break fic, hopefully not the last. Wanted to get this up before today's episode and this comes completely context. Got this from the picture over at Prison Break Online. Sad to say I'm a review junkie. And I don't own Prison Break, anything to do with it, do have Season 1, or Hundred by The Fray.
The room was filled with silence.
And it was killing him.
The casual snip snip of the scissors, the rip of the tape and the beating stare in his direction was driving him crazy.
She wanted him to say it, something that would temporarily take away all the pain but he couldn't, he was afraid too.
The how I can't recall
But I'm staring at what once was the wall
He'd been through so much, never knowing where the next meal would come from, and countless other things, and he never been more sure of his love for her.
Yet he couldn't tell her.
And she was looking at him again, jerking his arm with more force than necessary but the gentleness of her touch told him she wasn't mad.
She had been the hardest to get past.
Separating east and west
Now they meet amidst the broad daylight
Not the walls, the ever winding paths that were needed to take, all the change in plans.
Her.
So this is where you are, and this is where I am
Somewhere between unsure and a hundred
He had needed her, to gain access, she had been a pawn, he wasn't afraid to admit that, but she was so much more now.
She was everything.
It's hard I must confess
I'm banking on the rest to clear away
And here she was fixing him up now.
Cause we have spoken everything
Everything short of I love you
"I can't say what you want me say" he whispered in a voice that she had become wrapped in.
"And what is that Michael?" he closed his eyes, he hated when she said his name like that.
Full of everything he wanted to say but couldn't.
You right where you are, from right where I am
Somewhere between unsure and a hundred
"To tell you that I…care about you" he met her gaze, wishing he hadn't because he knew he would say it, it was only a matter of time.
"I don't want anything from you"
"You wouldn't be here if you didn't"
"I think you're good now" she stood taking the task of putting the supplies upon herself.
Hearing him behind her, caused her to stiffen.
And who's to say it's wrong
And who's to say that it's not right
Where we should be for now
"What do you want Michael?" she whispered in a tone that she had used once before as she turned, suddenly realizing her mistake, he was right there.
"I want…I want you to trust me"
"Why should I?" she question, the flicker in her eyes dared him to prove otherwise.
"Because I'm the only one you can trust right now"
"You were the one who got me into this"
"And I'm trying to fix it"
"Sitting in a hotel room, isn't fixing it"
"You're helping me" he brushed away a fly away hair from her face. Her skin and hair painstakingly soft.
Her breath caught and her eyes drifted shut as he came closer.
"Just give me time" he said against her lips in a hushed whisper.
His kisses told her everything words couldn't.
So this is where you are, and this is where I am
So this is where you are, and this is where I've been
Somewhere between unsure and a hundred
