Sora grinned goofily, his hands resting behind his head, Donald and Goofy on either side of him as Ping and Mushu walked behind them. Who would have thought Ping was a girl – Mushu was so wrong, he wouldn't fall for everything.

He was the Keyblade Master after all.

But, the Imperial Army, him and Riku used to play soldiers when they were little. Now he got to do the real thing, how awesome. Wait till he told Riku about this . . .

Waltzing into the Imperial camp, Sora caught the smell of food – it smelt good, whatever it was – and smiling goofily, left his companions to wait for Ping, opting to fidget in the food line, peering impatiently over the soldiers' heads.

"'bout time we got some grub."

Sora's grin disappeared as he was shoved back, catching his balance before toppling to the ground. "Hey, no cutting!"

"Get out!" Donald shouted, raising his staff in anger.

Before Sora could blink, the gruff soldier sneered at them as he swung around, his fist connecting solidly with Sora's check. The brunette stumbled, clumsily falling to the ground again in a matter of minutes. Crystal blue eyes narrowed, rubbing a gloved hand against his cheek. Donald muttered something incoherently before pouncing on the gruff soldier.

"Back off,"

Sora let out a sigh, bangs falling into his eyes as he stood up. Brushing the dirt from his outfit, he noticed Donald and the soldier exchanging punches, dirt covered.

"Uh-oh!"

Sora looked up at his companions' outburst as Goofy looked past him. Sora rolled his eyes – great, more soldiers.

"Hey, a space in line."

Pushing the gruff soldier away, he took his spot only to be pushed back moments later by the soldier he had come with. "I wonder what they're serving for lunch today?"

"Knuckle sandwiches," the gruff soldier muttered as he pushed Donald off him, turning instead to punch the soldier in front of him.

"That does it!" Sora shouted, chaos ensuing.

Locating the soldier that had fist slugged him; he lunged at him intent on returning the punch, only to be pushed roughly away. Sora grumbled as he hit the ground – getting thrown around was no fun – before pushing himself off the ground and lunged again. Donald, by using his staff, had knocked Ling to the ground, jumping on the man's back. Ping blinked, looking at the chaos ensuing before looking at Goofy and the larger soldier – Chien-Po was it? – stood there watching the scene unfold, interested in the scuffle unfolding.

"Please!" Ping mumbled after a while.

The scuffle stopped, the four of them looking over at her. Ling – who had Donald standing on his back, staff raised – mocked Ping's words, rolling his eyes.

"What a girl!" Yao grumbled, glaring at Sora, who had once again been knocked to the grounf.

"You punched me!"

"Cutting in line!"

"What a shrimp!"

Sora smirked as Mushu's head appeared from Ping's outfit, tongue darting out between his sharp fangs as he narrowed his eyes at Ling. "Who you callin' a shrimp, panda lips? I'm a bona fide guardian dragon!"

Ping jumped slightly, reaching back to shove Mushu away. "L-let's just get back in line, okay?"

"Whose side are you on?" Sora shouted, standing up. "I just got slugged!"

"Want some more?" Yao smirked.

"Soldiers! Get back in line!"

Quickly disengaging themselves from one another, the four scrambled into the line as the tent's flaps opened, the Captain appearing. Donald peeked out around the soldiers, quickly straightening up as he noticed the Captain. Sora rubbed a hand across his cheek from the punches he'd been given, straightening up as the Captain passed him. Darting a glance at the Captain's back, he glared around Chien-Po at Yao, making a fist at him.

This so wasn't like the army life he and Riku had imagined . . . it was . . . painful.

Looking around the camp, he decided maybe he wouldn't tell Riku - he'd just laugh because he just got beat up by someone shorter then him ……
