The ocean was a beautiful, scintillating deep cerulean color, its gentle waves lapping the golden shore. Tall palm trees swayed in the warm breeze, providing shade from the powerful, golden sun. The days long, the temperatures warm, Destiny Islands was truly a paradise.

Sora was enjoying the peace. The years he spent frantically traveling between worlds, fighting with Heartless and Nobody were really enough excitement to last a lifetime for him. Though he had wanted to leave Destiny Islands at the outset of his journey, he was glad now that he finally returned home. Sora spent his days happily residing on the beach, accompanied by his best friend, and lounging in the rays of the sun.

Today was no different. Sora sat on the soft mounds of sand, leaning back on his palms, and turning his face towards the sun. Lying right next to him was Riku, who had folded his hands behind his head, and was staring pensively (read: moodily) into the sky.

"This is nice, isn't it, Riku?" Sora suddenly said cheerfully, breaking the silence between the two boys. "No attacks, no worrying about the world...just you, me, and the beach!"

"Mmm." Riku responded absently.

Sora looked at his friend, who continued staring intently into the sky, as if the heavens had the answer to the problems that plagued his mind.

Sora was worried. What was the serious problem on Riku's mind that would make him stare at the sky for hours on end? Was he having troubles at home? Were his parents abusing him? Did he get a girlfriend? Did he impregnate said imaginary girlfriend? Was HE PREGNANT?!

Sora blinked at the last thought. Where did THAT come from...

"Hey, Sora." Riku murmured suddenly. "Do you remember when we were at The World that Never Was?"

"Yes." Sora replied, while his brain was busy wracking through anything that he said or did at that world which would make Riku into a mindless sky-starer.

"Remember after we defeated Xemnas, how I couldn't walk?" Riku asked.

"Yes." Sora replied again, and wondered where Riku was going with this.

"...Were you groping my ass then?"

Sora let out an undignified squeak and goggled at his best friend, who regarded him with a mild questioning stare.

"G-grope?! Riku!! You're so..." Sora paused, struggling for the word.

Riku waited patiently. "Yes?" He said, the paragon of tranquility, and raised a perfect silvery eyebrow.

"You're so perverted! You pervert!" Sora complained, flushing bright red.

"So you weren't groping my ass?"

Was it just him, or did Riku sound a little disappointed?

"NO!" Sora replied firmly.

"Oh."

Yep, Sora was definitely detecting a little disappointment. Well, scratch that. It sounded like Riku was really depressed now.

Sora sighed, and flopped backwards onto the sand. He, too, began to stare at the sky as his mind went back to that fateful day…

…and let out his second squeak of the day.

Riku looked up at Sora through his bangs. "What's wrong?" he asked lazily.

"I think I lied." Sora answered truthfully.

Riku wrinkled his eyebrows. "About what?"

"About your question." Sora stopped, and took a deep breath. "Isortalied. Ireallydidgropeyourass."

Come on. I know you all were thinking it. ;)
