Power
The darkness…the darkness,
How I hate it so,
It is made of envy,
And so much hate,
It is sad to say,
That I want to stay,
It provides me with power,
Not to mention wealth,
How many crave the power,
The warmth and the wealth,
But I am selfish,
And never share any,
I laugh and pity those,
For they should make amend,
Amend to angels,
Not a demon like thy,
Just a demon I am,
Nothing more…
