Greetings. My name is Captain Jack Sparrow, Guardian of Time. Things are looking up for our heroes when we last left them. But one more story is still to be told. A plot hole left to be filled. But in order for this story to be told, we must look towards the future.

22 years in the future.

Life after the final defeat of Plasmus was eventful for Danny and friends. Vlad Masters never named an heir to his company and left an opening for someone to take over. Thanks to Technus, that someone was Tucker. Tucker quickly changed the name to Tucker Industries and with Technus's help, the company expanded and grew. Danny did his best to improve in school in order to qualify to become an astronaut. While he didn't make it with NASA, he did become one through Tucker Industries' new space program. He along with Valerie Gray flew missions to the new space station Tucker was constructing and when they weren't in space, they flew test missions for new planes. Sam graduated law school and since she didn't need any high paying positions, she did work for environmental groups and individuals who needed the help. Somehow in the course of their busy lives, Danny and Sam got married and had a pair of children. The first was a girl that they named Danni after their daughter from an alternate timeline. Several years later, they had a boy and decided it was only fair to name him Sam. Life had its ups and downs, but everyone was happy.

Samantha Fenton sighed as waited for the last of the coffee to drip out of the machine and into the pot. She had avoided things like soda and energy drinks saying she didn't need stimulants to get through her day. Collage and Motherhood had quickly changed that and now she found herself needing a cup just get her brain going. Even the two year old, Sam seemed to know that he should silently drink from his sippy cup until his mother had finished her first cup.

Danny was currently on Tucker Industries Space Station with Valerie delivering supplies. He would be back in about a month so that left Sam with their fourteen year old daughter who not only was going through puberty, but also the awakening of her ghost powers. They had started to appear when she turned ten, but were now in full force. Danni phased through the ceiling and landed in front of the kitchen table. And she wasn't shy about using them at every opportunity.

"Hi mom!"

"Morning!" Sam turned toward her daughter. The teen was dressed in simple jeans with a black t-shirt. Her black hair was pulled back in a simple ponytail. A quick glance at the clock showed that she had actually woken up in time for school. "Is something wrong with the stairs?"

"Didn't feel like using them." Danni floated to one of the cabinets and fished out her favorite cereal. She patted her brother on the head as she flew past, which caused the child to giggle.

"Just try and be careful. Use your powers too much and your body will start to fall apart due to lack of exercise."

Danni shrugged as she retrieved milk from the fridge. "Just like drinking too much caffeine makes you dependent on it?"

Samantha coughed as she set the now empty cup down. "That is not what I meant."

Danni laughed. "I know mom. I still do a run with Jacklyn every afternoon after school. It is just the morning where I don't feel like moving too much."

With a sigh of defeat, Sam nodded. "Fair enough. Your father and I can be just as bad."

"Madam?" Their butler, Gerald stepped into the kitchen. He and the maid had come with the large house her parents had given her and Danny when they got married. She wanted to refuse them, but she was thankful for the help keeping the place clean. Though both of them had refused to let them raised their children. Danny and Samantha worked hard so that no matter what, one of them were home with the kids while the other was on a business trip. "Misses Foley and her daughter have arrived."

When Tucker had hit it big with his company, he had attracted the eye of Paulina Sanchez and they had gotten hitched. She had been the typical conceited popular girl in high school and everyone had figured she had married Tucker for his money. Surprisingly, she turned out to be a loving wife and great mother to their five kids. Plus she seemed to have lucked out since none of her children showed any signs of ghost powers.

"Hey Sammy." Paulina waved as she walked in. "Nice hairdo." Sam's hair was wrapped up in curlers. She hid her cringe, the woman still got on Sam's nerves.

"Danni!" Jacklyn appeared from behind her mother. She was the same age as Danni and was named after the infamous pirate Jack Sparrow. She was dressed a simply as Danni was and looked more like her father than her mother. The rest of her siblings were under the age of ten.

"Jacklyn!" The two girls hugged briefly before heading towards the front door. "Bye mom."

"Have a good day at school."

Paulina followed the pair of teens. "We should get together soon and go shopping."

'I would rather eat ten meet lovers' pizzas.' Sam wanted to say, but simply smiled." She sighed as the front door closed and turned to her son who smiled at her from his high chair. "What do you want to do today?" The child scooped up a small handful of his drooled on cereal and held them out to her. "Thanks, but I prefer mine dry." The child dropped the cereal and started to cry. "I'm sorry." Sam started to reach out to pick him up, but a large shadow covered her. She turned around and everything went black.

School went as slowly as it usually did and Danni was thankful when the final bell sounded. Paulina dropped both her and Jacklyn at Danni's house. It was Friday and the girl's decided to hangout for the weekend. The pair had done this so much that each left a selection of clothing and other needed items at each other's house. The door was unlocked, which struck Danni as strange since her mother was a bit of safety nut. "Mom? Gerald?" As the girls walked into the house, they were shocked to see it in the state it was in. Most of the furniture had been smashed and flung from whatever position they normal would be in. Gerald the butler was laying on the floor with part of the couch on top of him.

"Gerald!" Danni ran to him as Jacklyn dialed the police on her phone. The man groaned a bit, but didn't wake up. He had a nasty looking bump on his head.

"I'll stay with him." Jacklyn knelt down next to the butler as she talked to police dispatcher.

Danni ran to the kitchen, the last place she saw her mother and brother. It was similarly trashed with the stove looking like something crushed it. The high chair her brother had been in looked like a piece of twisted metal and cracked plastic. She started to fly up to phase through the ceiling to reach the second floor, but stopped when she saw writing on the ceiling. The words had been carved into it. "Come to the warehouse! Come alone!" Danni knew the warehouse in question when her father took her there once. He had been promising to fix it up so she could practice with her powers more. Sam being born delayed that.

"Danni?" Jacklyn ran into the kitchen. "Police are on the way."

"Stay here. I need to go."

"What?"

"Someone has taken my mom and brother." Danni pointed to the ceiling. "I need to go and get them back."

Jacklyn looked up and read the message. "What warehouse?" She looked around when she didn't get a response. "Danni?"

The sun was setting as Danni landed in front of the warehouse. The building looked little different from when she was here a few years ago. She had often dreamed of spending time here with her father, training to fight ghosts just as he has done. While she had access to some of her ghostly powers, she didn't know how to transform into a ghost form. The flight from her house had drained almost all the energy she could muster. The large double doors that led into the building were intact. Only the chain and lock that had kept them closed had been broken. She pushed one open just enough to slip in. It was dark with no source of light anywhere to be seen. The many training items that Danny had used in his younger years were still there, just covered in dust and cobwebs. The corner that Technus had filled with computers and equipment were covered in thick tarps. As she walked deeper into the building a single overhead lamp turned on and nearly blinded her.

"And the last has finally arrived." A man walked into the light. He appeared to be in his forties with black hair shaped into twin peaks. His skin was blue and his eyes glowed with red light. A white suit with matching cape finished his look. "Do you know who I am?"

"No."

"Really." He sighed and appeared to be hurt. "Considering the impact I had on both of your parents' lives would at least warrant a tale or two." He smirked and gave a mock bow. "I am Plasmus."

Danni gulped. "I know you. But you died a long time ago."

"A part of me died. Most half ghosts have two personalities. Vlad Masters managed to suppress me for years until the final moments of his existence. Your father was the one who actually made my ascension possible. Unlike Vlad, I have no desire to take over anything."

"Then what do you want?"

The smile he showed sent shivers down Danni's spine. "The time I spent pulling myself together was the most painful moments of my existence and while I resented being suppressed, I didn't want my other self-destroyed. I am going to completely destroy those who contributed to his demise. Your family is the first."

"Where is my family?"

"Contained for now. With your father trapped in space, this was the perfect opportunity to strike. I look forward to when he returns and finds the damage I have inflicted."

"I am not going to let you hurt anyone."

"And how do you plan on stopping me? I have been observing you and your family for some time and I know you can't even turn into a ghost."

"Ok, for one thing, that sounded really creepy. And two…" Danni pulled a green ball from her pocket and flung it with power and precision so that it impacted Plasmus' face. The ball turned into goo and incased his face. "… you should have known I was the star pitcher for my baseball team."

Plasmus' response was muffled as he tried to rip the goo from his face.

Danni ran past him and headed for the section of the warehouse that was walled off to form rooms. The first door led to large office where her mom had been chained to the wall and her little brother was in a small cage. "This just keeps getting weirder."

"Danni! Run!"

"Not with you and Sam." Danni ran to her mother and tried to pull at the chains. "Why don't you just phase through these?"

Sam motioned to a large silver and green metal belt that had been strapped around her waist. "This thing is canceling out my ghost powers."

"Right." Danni tried to remove it, but the large buckle was locked. Maybe I can pick it."

"Danni!"

"What?"

Plasmus answered her question by grabbing her neck and lifting the girl off of her feet. His grip was tight, but she still managed to take shallow breaths. "A good underhanded move, but all you have managed to do is prove your more annoying than your worth. I will take great pleasure destroying you in front of your mother."

Sam struggled against her bonds. "She has done nothing to you."

"True, but I must inflict as much pain to you as you have to me. Don't worry too much, I do have other plans for your son."

"What about my son?"

"I have special plans for him. You and Daniel have no idea of what you have created in these children. The fact that Danni was able to fly all the way here even without being able to turn into a ghost is proof of the power they possess. No second personalities and the ability to naturally control ghostly energy mean they have more potential than any of you artificial half-ghosts. I would take both of your children, but your daughter is too much like her father." He looked at the crying boy in the cage. "He I can mold into my personal agent of destruction."

Danni tried to pull free of Plasmus' grasp. "Leave my brother alone."

"Thou, it would be fun to crush that spirt of yours." His free hand began to charge with black energy. "But business before pleasure."

With a grunt of effort, Sam managed to rip the chain that held her left hand to the wall free and slam it into the arm that held Danni. The force of the blow caused Plasmus to drop the girl as his other hand attempted to blast her apart. The energy blast hit his now empty hand and he yelled in pain as it was nearly ripped to pieces.

He roared in anger as he his hand reformed. He slapped Sam hard across her face with his free hand. "You will suffer for that."

Danni found her rage boiling over as she rose to her feet. Green sparks began to go off around her body. "Don't touch…" A ring of white and black energy formed around her feet. It quickly flew upward and transformed her body before vanishing as it passed her head. Her clothes hadn't changed, but her skin was noticeably paler, her eyes glowed with green light and her hair was now white. "…my mom!" Danni threw her hands forward and a pair of green energy beams fired from her palms. The beams hit Plasmus square in the chest and he flew through the open doorway and crashed into the large room. Before her mother could react, Danni floated up a few inches and charged at the fallen Plasmus like a missile. She slammed into the ghost before he had time to fully recover. Her arms were almost a blur as she pummeled him with punches. This went on for several moments before Plasmus managed to have a wave of energy explode from his body that blasted her back.

"Insolent brat." He floated up as black energy began to surge around him. "I was willing to make your end relatively painless, but now I will disintegrate you atom by atom." He swung his arm in a wide arch in front of him and a blade of black energy formed as he did this. It flew at Danni at high speed. She managed to roll clear as the blade effortlessly sliced through everything it touched and even left a large gash in the concrete floor before it dissipated. Plasmus was quick to follow up and quickly flung a large orb of energy. Danni covered her head as a small dome of green energy formed around her. The orb detonated against the dome, shattering it and knocking her off of her feet. "Your instincts are good." Plasmus landed on the floor and began to walk toward her. "But you cannot hope to match my power." Danni tried to fire energy beams, but the few she could generate were easily slapped away by Plasmus. "Despite everything, I am impressed you managed this much without any training." Danni began to back away, but her back hit a wall. Plasmus smirked and held his hand up. Energy began to flow and gather into the open hand.

Before he could fire it, the double doors to the warehouse flew open with enough force that they nearly broke free from it hinges. A man stood in front of a large swat truck that was shining light with powerful lamps into the building. The truck was black and green instead of the typical colors and the letters APGP where imprinted on the sides of it. The man stood about seven feet and looked muscular. His clothing matched that of police swat teams, but it was his head that made him stand out. His face was somewhat skull shaped and he had glowing green hair.

Plasmus almost chuckled at the sight. "Skulker? That can't be you."

Skulker stepped into the warehouse and pulled a large silver gun from his holster and pointed it at Plasmus. "It is I and I am having a similar problem believing your standing in front of me."

"So has the great hunter been leashed then?"

Skulker tapped the green tinted police badge on his chest. "My therapist has helped me refocus my desire to hunt into more productive duties. I can no longer skin what I capture, but I still find fulfillment in my work." Skulker smiled as three glowing green blades slid out of his left arm. "Thou I am sure she will be alright if I have a relapse in your case."

"You always had the bad habit of hunting those above your abilities." Plasmus brought his hand around and fired the beam meant for Danni at Skulker. Skulker pulled the trigger of his gun and a bright green beam fired from it. The green beam cut through the black one easily and Plasmus had to duck to avoid it. "What?"

"Tucker Tech." Skulker's thumb flicked a small switch on the gun. "I will give you one chance to surrender."

"Surrender? You dare tell me to surrender." Plasmus' body quickly began to transform and grow. His hands turned into talons, his clothing from the waist up vanished, his body from the waist down turned into a serpent-like form, his skin turned green, and his eyes transformed into black light. He was nearly twenty feet tall.

"This might be a problem." Skulker opened fire as his gun now fired rapid bolts of energy. "Run girl!"

Danni didn't have to be told twice as she took off as fast as she could back to the room her mother and brother were trapped in. Plasmus didn't seemed to be effected by the bolts and ignored Skulker for the moment. Before Danni could reach the doorway, his tail lashed out and coiled around her. "Not so fast." With Danni trapped, he turned his attention back to Skulker. "Pathetic." Plasmus lunged forward to try and snatch up the robotic cop.

Skulker dodged to the left faster than Plasmus would have guessed he could. With a quick swipe of his claws, he left deep slash marks on Plasmus' arm. Plasmus jerked his arm in reaction to the pain and managed to knock Skulker back several feet. The light from his glowing eyes intensified and they fired powerful beams that tore up the floor as they traveled toward Skulker. Small rockets activated on the soles of Skulker's boots and he took to the air as the beams ripped apart the floor he had been standing on. He switched his gun back to beam mode and fired it at Plasmus' head. The ghost ducked it and aimed his eye beams to clash with the one coming from the gun. The beams seemed to be deadlocked for a few seconds before the ones coming from Plasmus managed to push the other back and Skulker had to let go of the gun before it exploded. He was struck by a strong blow from the ghost's hand and crashed into the far wall with enough force to dent the metal.

"Is this all you have? What happened to the hunter who was packed to the brim with weapons and armor?"

"I had grown too dependent on them." Skulker pulled himself out of the wall. "I could not begin to move on if I didn't learn to rely more on myself and others."

"Then you are a fool. If you had been better armed, you might have given me pause." Plasmus stretched his arms out to his sides and black energy began to form into his hands. "Any last words?"

Skulker smirked. "Bumble Bumpers!"

"What?" Plasmus paused as he tried to comprehend what the former hunter had said.

"Our code words. Cops work in pairs and I was letting my partner know I need backup."

"Partner?" As soon as Plasmus had spoken, he cried out in pain and crashed into the ceiling. His tail had been sliced off, with the part that had been removed turning into pure energy and flowing into the sword that had been used to cut it off. The recognizable blade was being held by a man in his early twenties dressed in swat gear similar to Skulker. Tendrils of energy coiled around the wrist of the arm that held the sword as it transferred the energy it had absorbed to him. Danni was now free of his grasp and stood next to him.

"The Soul Shredder!" Plasmus sneered as his tail regrew. "How did you get that?"

"You know Plasmus?" The man started to walk forward as blue flames began to surround him. "My father said his only regret was the fact he wasn't the one to end you." The flames enveloped him and then dissipated. His clothing had remained the same save for the addition of a red trench coat and hat that one would find in a western. A modern police badge was clipped to the coat where an old marshal badge would be. His skin was paler and his eyes flashed with blue light. "My name is Officer Ash Maxwell and my dad gave me this sword." The excess energy he had gained from the sword radiated out of him and transformed into ghost fire. The fire turned into a massive wall and flew at Plasmus. The ghost quickly phased through the ceiling to avoid it. Ash glanced at Skulker. "You alright old man?"

"I am fine whelp. Now stay on him before he can recover or escape." With a nod, Ash went intangible and flew after Plasmus. Skulker brushed himself off as he walked to Danni. "You hurt?"

"No. How did you know we were here?"

"You friend Jacklyn called her father who in turn called me. I had to crank up the sensitivity of our ghost radar, but we were able to follow your flight here. When you got Plasmus to do something, the thing nearly overloaded."

"I am glad you're here. He got my family chained up in the office." Danni led him to the office.

Sam managed a small laugh. "Never thought I would be glad to see you."

"Always a pleasure Miss Fenton." Skulker looked at the large belt. "I remember that from one of Plasmus' files." He unclipped a large silver cylinder from his belt. It had a slot on one end and a wire on the other. "I got this from Tucker a few years ago. Stick the wire into the keyhole. It will scan it and the micro cutter in the cylinder will create a key that can open it." He handed it to Danni. "He said he finally found a way to hack a door." Skulker turned to leave.

"Where are you going?"

"The whelp was trained by his parents since his powers first appeared, but I fear he won't be strong enough to handle Plasmus alone." Skulker pressed his fingers to the side of his head to activate his com-link. "SWAT Truck. Prepare my Panzer armor."

A fireball of ghost fire exploded near Plasmus as he dodged another attack from Ash. He responded by throwing a large bolt of black energy at him. Ash sliced into the bolt with the sword and it quickly absorbed it. "Damn that sword." Plasmus held his hands above his head and a ball of energy formed above him. "Try and absorb this!" He tightly gripped the ball and several bolts fired out from in-between his talons at high speeds. Trying to hit each one would be next to impossible, so Ash formed a protective sphere of ghost fire around himself. The fire grew in intensity as the bolts stuck it and prevented any from reaching the half-ghost inside the sphere. Plasmus chuckled as he quickly scooped up a large shipping crate and heaved it the sphere of ghost fire. The crate tore through the flames and landed with a loud crash on the ground. Plasmus grumbled as he noticed that Ash had simply went intangible to avoid the crate.

"You telegraphed that one."

"Really?" Plasmus laughed. "How about this one?"

A large ghost snake phased out of the ground below Ash and nearly swallowed him whole. Only the arm holding The Soul Shredder was sticking out of its mouth. The snake was actually the serpent-like ghostly tail Plasmus had. While he had thrown the crate, he had created the head at the end of his tail and had it extended in size to catch Ash by surprise. Black ooze dripped from the mouth of the serpent.

"You're not the only one who can feed on the ghostly energy of others. I will slowly consume you to replenish all the energy you made me waste. And don't bother trying to burn me from the inside, I made sure to develop my own way to suppress ghost flames just in case I ran into your father." Ash dropped his sword as the rest of his arm was drawn in to the mouth. "Now to deal with that robotic traitor and then The Fenton Family."

He started to fly back to the warehouse when he was hit with a sudden pain. The head of his serpent tail floated in front of him. Just below it, a part of the body was beginning to expand as if it had swallowed a balloon as it was inflating. The part flashed with green light as the part exploded outward. Ash floated in the air, covered in black ooze and breathing heavily. Plasmus roared in pain and anger as he spiked Ash into the ground below as if he was a volleyball.

"Congratulations! I have never been this angry in my entire existence." His talons twitched as he loomed over the fallen half-ghost. "I am going to inflict ten times the amount of pain on you as you have inflicted on me."

"PLASMUS!" Skulker's shoot echoed. As the large ghost looked towards the source of the shout, two beams of bright yellow energy blaster through his torso and sent him flying into the side of a building. Skulker's body was now covered in a bulky green armor with two massive cannons attached to his shoulders. Large hover jets lifted Skulker off of the ground and he floated over to the fallen Ash. "Got over confident again, whelp."

Ash groaned as he pushed himself up. "Just a bit. Didn't think a ghost's tail could be dangerous."

A loud roar from Plasmus was followed by the crumbing of the building he had impact. The wounds on the large ghost healed as he charged at the pair. His talons glowed with energy as he tried to rip into Skulker. A multicolored dome formed around him and the talons bounced off it. "I thought you didn't use bulky weapons anymore." Plasmus screamed as he continued to try and break through the dome.

"I told you." Over a dozen panels on Skulker's armor slid open to reveal a large number of green missiles. "I am sure I will be forgiven for the relapse in your case." Ash flew over Skulker and dumped all the energy he had gotten from The Soul Shredder into a powerful beam of energy that pushed Plasmus back. All of the missiles streaked from Skulker's armor and impacted Plasmus with a series of powerful explosions. The ghost dropped to the ground, considerably smaller than he was at the start of the fight. He was now only slightly taller than Skulker. Most of his energy had been consumed rebuilding his body.

"This isn't happening!" Plasmus struggled to float into the air. "I am the most powerful ghost in history. I will…" He paused at the sight before him. Danni was holding her little brother in one arm while her other hand was holding up his Ghost Energy Suppression Belt. A shiny key was in the lock. "Oh no." Several black chains quickly wrapped around his body. The little boy in Danni's arm waved at him as he was pulled away at high speeds. His body was twisted around as he flew and he was greeted by the fist of Sam. She was in her ghost form and the look on her face made scared Plasmus. Her form had changed little from when he had seen it last. The number of chains she had floating from her were far more numerous thou. Sam said nothing as she pummeled the ghost with glowing fists. She finished her assault with an axe kick that sent Plasmus crashing to the ground. Sam summoned and threw several black energy swords that pinned the ghost to the ground like a bug in a display case. "Now Samantha, maybe…"

Black energy exploded around Sam. "You're going to pay for threatening my family." Multiple basketball sized orbs of black energy formed around her and continued to grow and number. "You put my son in a cage and laid your hands on my daughter." The orbs of black energy doubled in size. "Don't worry, Danny will know you were here because he will be able to see your destruction from orbit." The orbs streaked towards Plasmus like a swarm of angry bees.

Plasmus yelled out several curses as he ripped free from the energy swords that had pinned him down. Unable to escape, he curled his tail around his body and threw up the strongest energy barrier he could. The orbs rained down on the barrier, kicking up a large amount of smoke and light. When the last orb finally hit and detonated, the smoke dissipated. The ground Plasmus was on had been reduced to a crater and several of the warehouses around him had partially collapsed. The ghost was back in his human sized form and looked extremely pale. Sam landed as Danni and the others flew up. No one dared to speak to the still seething Sam. She summoned an energy blade and started to walk towards the downed Plasmus.

"Wait." Plasmus pathetically rose up on his returned knees. "I am sorry. If you spare me, I will vanish to the deepest part of The Ghost Zone. Please." Sam stopped walking towards him and dismissed the blade. Plasmus started to smile, but then noticed the area was bathed in green light. He looked up and saw what appeared to be a bright green meteor flying right at him. "I may have miscalculated." The meteor impacted Plasmus with enough force to knock him off of his knees. The green light dimed to reveal the meteor was actually Danny Phantom. A white cloak and hood had been added to high ghost form and he held his glowing green energy scythe. "I thought you were in space."

"Intangibility lets me ignore annoying things like gravity and air resistance." His grip tightened on the scythe. "Oh and one more thing."

"Yes."

"I got over my problem with destroying evil ghosts." With a quick swing, the scythe sliced Plasmus cleanly in two and his form burst into energy and ash.

Danny dismissed his scythe as he turned towards everyone. Before he could even speak, Danni rushed into him. "Dad! How did you know?"

"Hey, Danni. Tucker called me and Valerie sabotaged the radio so the NASA guys wouldn't notice I left." He patted her on the head as he took the small boy from him. The boy was laughing as he tried to hug his father. "Miss me Sam?" Danni punched her father in the arm. "What was that for?"

"If you would have trained me like you've promised, I could have taken that creep out myself."

Danny sighed. "You right. After the mission is done, I have a bunch of vacation time coming. I'll set aside all of it for you."

"All of it?" Sam stepped up and hugged her husband. "Don't I get some time?"

"Well, it has been a while since…"

"Guys!" Danni interrupted the two before they could go any farther. "Can you pick a less embarrassing place to talk about this?"

Danny looked past Danni and noticed Skulker and Ash standing a few feet away. Both he and Sam blushed. "Right. Plus I better make my way back to the station before NASA thinks it exploded or something." He glanced at the destruction that had occurred during the fight. "And I might warn Tucker that he will be having a pretty big bill coming his way." He handed his son to Sam as he stepped away from his family. "See you guys soon." He shot into the sky.

Sam smiled and took Danni's hand. "Let's go home."

Skulker chuckled as he watched The Fentons fly out of sight. "The future is in good hands."
