Allen held closely to his jacket, shivering slightly from the cold. He rubbed his hands together, almost thankful he wore gloves to hide his arm. He didn't like the cold weather, nor does he like enduring Kanda's cold attitude. Luckily, they were on their way back to Headquarters, where he doesn't have to worry about the swordsman there.

He was already falling asleep, despite the cold, when the train suddenly stopped. He muttered a soft curse, hoping it wasn't an attack. Fortunately, it was merely because of some engine problem.

Allen noticed that the weather turned colder every minute as the train hasn't moved yet. He tried to sleep again, but only succeeded in closing his eyes. He just can't stop thinking and complaining about the cold weather. Moments passed by and Allen was still awake. His annoyance of the cold grew and grew. Allen then unknowingly started complaining out loud.

He heard Kanda got up from his seat, assuming that the other exorcist must be fed up with his complaints and shivering.

To Allen's surprise, he suddenly felt another jacket drape over him, transferring the warmth that the jacket contained. His eyes slowly opened to look at Kanda. He opened his mouth to say something but was stopped by the glare Kanda gave him. Allen chose instead to stare at Kanda (who was by now, looking outside the window) and decided to nestle further in the jacket and tried to sleep.

He slept peacefully after that, not one complain about the cold.
