"Ne, Sakura-chan?"
"Yea?" Sakura looked up from her scroll.
"Did it hurt when you fell?"
"Eh? When did I fall?"
Sakura cocked her head to the side.
Naruto was fiddling with a tiny white flower.
He's not acting right today…she thought.
A flash of red darted across his cheeks.
"Umm..Ano…S-Sakura-chan…"
"Yea?"
"D-Did it hurt when you fell?"
Sakura began to get frustrated.
It wasn't like Naruto to stutter.
Unless he knows I'm about to punch him…but still…
Sakura narrowed her eyes.
What does he mean by "did it hurt when you fell?"
Naruto gulped.
I'd better spill it before she castrates me…
"Did it hurt when you fell from heaven?" He blurted out, clenching his eyes shut.
Sakura raised her fist angrily at the weak pun, and was about to smash that handsome face of his to Suna when she saw the look on his face.
Ehh? Is he serious?? And did I just call his face 'handsome'..??"
Sakura blinked confusedly.
What is up with the world today??
She sighed, closing her eyes.
I might as well play along with his game…
"No." She opened her eyes, a smile stretching across her face.
"Eh?"
"It didn't hurt when I fell from heaven."
Naruto quirked his eyebrow.
Sakura's smile grew bigger at her teammates confusion.
Well, he obviously didn't expect for me to react like this…
"It didn't hurt when I fell from heaven…
"Because you caught me in your arms before I touched the ground."
A huge red blush scattered across Naruto's face.
Then he smiled his boisterous grin and sighed, getting up off the ground.
"I'm hungry, do you wanna go Ichiraku Sakura-chan?" He asked, tucking his hands behind his head.
Sakura huffed.
His attention is so easily diverted… She sighed, sweatdropping.
Well, Naruto will always be Naruto.
"Fine, but you're paying!" She smirked.
"Aww…Sakura-chan…" Naruto pouted.
"No buts!"
And with that, she ran off, leaving a quivering Naruto, who was by now, a crying mass on the floor.
