How to be a kid again.

Ino swung her legs off her balcony when she saw a guy walking towards her on the ground. When he got closer she saw that it was Shikamaru.

"Shika...what are you doing here?" Ino asked tilting her head in confusion.

"I couldn't sleep...I thought maybe we could hang out?" Shikamaru said.

"Sure." Ino said jumping off the balcony. "One question though...why me?"

"I dunno...your the first person that came to mind I guess..." Shikamaru said shrugging his shoulders.

"Well...what did you have planned?" Ino asked

"Nothing really..." Shikamaru said and sighed.

"Wanna go to the park?" Ino asked.

"Sure...I haven't been there since I was an academy student.." Shikamaru said putting his arms behind his head. They continued walking until they got to the park. Ino smiled and ran over to the swings.

"C'mon Shika." Ino said pointing to the other swing beside her. Shikamaru walked up and sat on the swing.

"Don't you think we're a little old for this?" Shikamaru asked

"Oh c'mon! We're only fifteen! We have to enjoy life while we still can." Ino said smiling as she started to swing. "Besides...it's fun...when you tilt your head back and close your eyes..it feels like your flying." she says doing just that then she laughs at Shikamaru "C'mon be a kid once and awhile." she says jumping off, doing a front flip and lands on her feet in the sand. She walks up behind Shikamaru and begins to push him. Shikamaru looked back to see her eyes filled with joy. He liked it with her...she made him feel like a little kid again. A little later Ino pulled him to a stop.

"Hey! Wanna go swim in the creek like we used too?" Shikamaru asked

"I don't have my swim suit." Ino says looking at the ground

"That never stopped you before." Shikamaru said smirking. Ino smiled and began running towards the creek.

"LAST ONE THERE HAS TO BUY NARUTO ALL THE RAMEN HE CAN EAT!" Ino yelled behind her. Shikamaru smiled and ran after her, both of them stripping down to their underwear. Ino steps in the water only to get tackled by Shikamaru and they both got fell in the water. Shikamaru grabbed Ino by the waist and hugged her, Making them both blush.

"Thank you Ino..." Shikamaru said.

"For what?" Ino asked tilting her head in confusion.

"For showing me how to be a kid again." Shikamaru said and he kissed her.
