A/N:Welcome to my first [posted Harry Potter fan fic! There have been many before this, but I haven't been brave enough to put them up. So, a cute little KBOW. This is during Katie's first year at Hogwarts.

Disclaimer:I own nothing. Not even the Woollongong Shimmy.

The Wolly – what?

"So, Chasers. Angelina, pay attention! We're running the Woollongong Shimmy today. Got it?" Oliver snapped at the players in front of him.

"The Wolly - what?"

"I explained it to you last week." Oliver said, trying to keep the desperation from his voice.

"Uh..."

"That was for us?"

"I think I was asleep at the time."

"ARGH! Does anyone know what I'm talking about?"

"I do." a small voice called from the stands. Oliver spun around, nearly falling off his broom in the process.

"Who said that?" he snapped.

"Me." Katie Bell raised her hand.

"Bell?"

"Yes."

"You know what the Woollongong Shimmy is?"

"Yes."

"You really do?"

"Yes."

"You're not doing this just to impress me?"

"Why would I try to impress you?"

"So you really, honestly, truthfully know what the Woollongong Shimmy is?"

"YES!"

"See! A first year knows what it is!" he yelled back at his team. They grumbled in reply.

"Can you show these lazy asses how to do it?"

"Uh...sure. But..."

"Alright. Go ahead, Bell."

"Oliver?"

"What, Johnson?"

"She might need a broom."

"Right. Yeah. Uh. Here, Bell. Use mine."

There were gasps behind him.

"He's letting her use his broom?"

"He doesn't let anyone touch that thing - let along ride it."

"Oliver? You alright, mate?"

"I'm fine." he growled, "Bell. Get out here."

She scrambled down the stands and onto the pitch.

"So. Bell. Be careful with it."

"I will be." She mounted the broom and kicked off.

"Woollongong Shimmy, Bell."

"'Kay." She sped across the field in a high speed serpentine.

"Woah."

"That's awesome."

"Alright. That's enough. Get back here with my broom, Bell." She obeyedand landed next to him.

"Nice flying, Katie!" Fred called. She grinned and handed Oliver back his broom.

"Okay flying." he said. She raised an eyebrow. "Decent." She raised the other one. "Alright, quite good really. Try out for the team next year, will you?"

"Yeah!" she said, brightly.

"Alright, you lazy asses understand how to do it?"

"Yep."

"Definitely. Thanks, Katie!"

"No problem." Katie grinned sheepishly.

The rest of the practice went flawlessly. Katie was still sitting in the stands when Oliver emerged from the changing rooms.

"Good job, kiddo." he said, clapping her on the back. She grinned and followed him up to the castle.
