Demeanon: ... This is random... or not. See, I have had a short spurt of inspiration for fanfiction for Kingdom Hearts. I never actually name the characters. This is on purpose to see if I can write in second person. Also, this was from before they became what they were... are... became... Back when they were human still.

And no, this doesn't have to be depressing. I technically never said they died there. The pyromaniac could have been moving away, and the hydromaniac... well, when you let the water take control of your body and it is still or slow moving, you will most likely float back to the top.

See, it is possible they lived.

He loved fire. He loved the way it could flare up dangerously after seeming docile and frail. He loved how it could engulf everything and leave ash. He loved the heat and light of the fire. He loved the way that he could make his hair look like it. But most of all, he loved the desctruction of it.

He stood near the tree that was drenched in lighter fluid. His emerald eyes flashed as he light the match, the light catching on his maniacal smile. He held it above his head, and let it fall. Miracuosly, the flame did not die as it fell through six feet and a fourth of one. The match landed on a root of the tree, right in the middle of a place covered in lighter fluid.

He laughed as the tree suddenly exploded into flame. He continued to laugh even as the fire started to burn the grass patch he was standing on. He didn't care.

Fire was pretty.

He loved water. He loved the coolness of it, how it could be that way even after the sun lit it up. He loved how it would accept anything at all without question. He loved the flow and the wetness. He loved the world underwater. He loved the way it could be calm and yet so destructive.

He waded into the water, the sun's last rays warming his face before he dove under. His sea blue eyes opened under the surface to intake the bottom of a lake. the creatures and plants down there were always entertaining. He swam down deeper, his clothes helping his descent. He raised his eyes to the surface, seeing an odd version of the veiw world beyond the water's surface.

The coldness was starting to get to him. He smiled despite the feeling of his lungs crushing for lack of air. He let the water take control as the world faded to darkness. He didn't care.

Water was pretty.
