Before everyone thinks of me as crazy I would just like to say in my defense, deviantart can sometimes do that to you. Although, I didn't find a Zhao/Jun shipping picture, it was actually a gag-strip of Katara being paired with almost all of the male characters ever seen on ATLA. So, I hope you realize this is a crack pairing and is not to be taken seriously. With that said, I hope you enjoy it! (Even though I think this would be better as a drawing than a drabble)
When Zhao's parents told him about love, he would always turn away in disgust saying it would never happen to him. This was the same way with Jun, but said that hunting was her love and nothing could replace it. Years had gone and past, with both living in denial that love even exsisted. But who was to blame them since they were living during a century old war? Even though that didn't stop Zuko and Katara from falling in love, or Sokka and Ty Lee and many others, but that's not really the point now is it?
But now in the present time, with Zhao having a near-death experience and Jun at the top of her game, both felt like they were missing something. Of course if you were to ask either of them, they would deny that is was love and then probaly beat you up for bringing up such a subject. Then again for this drabble to work, we need them to admit this now don't we?
Well then, here is how they fell in love basically; by meeting in the Earth Kingdom (or should it be Fire Nation?) forest. All it took was a look into each other's eyes to know they had found their other half. After staring into each other's eyes, Zhao gave up his title of Admiral of the Fire Nation Navy, and Jun gave up her hunting.
Both of them found a nice little Fire Nation island with very few pests (people and animals alike) and were married the day of Sozin's Comet. Of course, Zhao being a firebender couldn't control his firebending when the comet passed and burned his bride before she could say 'I do'. Seeing his mistake, Zhao took his own life and now both are in the Spirit World living happily-ever-after. So in a way, they both lived happily in the living world and now they will forever live happily in the spirit world.
Like I said before, crack-pairing. I originally was going to make this drabble longer and more detailed but I thought it might take away from everyone trying to picture it for themselves. I would rather have you guys add your own details instead of having to listen to my boring, never-ending, ones. Anyways, please review! And yes, even flames. ;coughs; Or, maybe not...
