The Daughter
Athrun, a blue haired handsome young man, was traveling the land of Orb. After arriving at another town, he stopped at a farmhouse for the night.
He knocked on the door and was answered by a gentleman. "Good evening sir, I was wondering if I can stay for night. I'll pay you the same rent as the other inns in the city."
The gentleman introduced himself as Uzumi Attha but declined the boy's request.
"Any room will suffice," Athrun insisted.
Uzumi hesitated for a moment then finally gave in. "Very well then, I can let you sleep with my daughter if you promise not to touch her."
He agreed, having no choice at all. "I'm Athrun Zala, by the way."
After sharing a dinner with Uzumi, Athrun was lead then to his room.
He went inside and noticed that the room was only slightly lit by the glow of the moon from the holes of the window. He noticed that a body was already occupying the other half of the bed. He quietly fixes for the night and lie down at the other half of the bed.
Then the daughter said, "Please embrace me."
"I can't, I promised your dad not to touch you." Athrun said.
"Please, I'm getting cold."
Athrun turned to face the girl to refuse again but was met by amber eyes on a beautiful face. He was so drawn to her that he immediately changed his mind. "Ok then," he said as he wrapped his arms around her slender waist.
"Thank you. I'm Cagalli." She said with a small smile.
He smiled back. "I'm Athrun."
"Good night then, Athrun."
"Good night, Cagalli."
Next morning, he woke up early and found Cagalli still sleeping. As much as he wanted to stay, he can't for he had something important to do. But as he closes Cagalli's door, he vowed that he'll come back here as soon as he can.
He was met by Uzumi at the kitchen and they both enjoyed their breakfast. But when the time for Athrun to pay his bill, he somewhat wanted to hint to Uzumi that he's interested with his daughter. That he might come back for her. So start the conversation, he gave Uzumi his payment and said, "Your Cagalli is very kind to let me room in with her. And last night she was very cold."
Uzumi was silent for a moment. Athrun was kindly praying that Uzumi would not throw him out.
After a few seconds, Uzumi look at him with surprised eyes. His voice slightly shaking he replied, "I – I know, she's been de-dead for two days."
