Suddenly, there was a screeching sound. The noise got louder as a large blue rectangular box began to fade in. It had a light on top of it and had windows on all four sides. Once it materialized, it made a pound noise. Sora, Riku, and Kairi all stared at the box in disbelief. How did this box appear out of nowhere.
"Hey look, it's a magic outhouse!" Riku pointed out excitedly as he began to sprint towards it. "Make way, me first!"
As Riku approached the blue box, the door suddenly opened. This caused Riku to stop in his tracks. Out came a woman with long brown hair, black plastic rimmed glasses, and wearing a blue Pusheen t-shirt, black capri leggings, and rainbow-neon colored running shoes. Both Sora and Kairi's jaws dropped open while Riku studied the woman.
"Hurky?" Riku asked, squinting and trying to match the woman with his friend.
The woman grinned a gap toothed grin. "Hey Riku! Long time no see!"
Sora and Kairi ran to Hurky and wrapped their arms around her, squeezing as tight as they could. Riku slowly joined them. After a minute, they broke the hug.
"Where have you been and why do you look different?" Sora asked, studying Hurky's appearance.
"Well, I grew out of the skateboard shoe phase and I can't exactly fit into jeans anymore." Hurky explained, grabbing and squishing some fat on her side. "A lot can happen in 12 years."
"12 YEARS?!" Sora, Riku, and Kairi all shouted, both shocked and confused.
"How have you aged 12 years in just a few minutes, Hurk?" Riku asked, studying her appearance and noticing that she did age a little bit.
"We're on Doctor Who." Hurky explained. "After you zapped us out of Dora the Explorer, Ryo and I somehow got sent here."
Riku suddenly tensed up. "Is she in the magic outhouse with you?" He asked in horror, pointing to the box.
Hurky's face fell. "She originally was when we met the Doctor but after an encounter with some Weeping Angels, Ryo got sent back in time. We're not sure where because we were unable to visit her."
Riku breathed a sigh of relief while Sora and Kairi were shocked. Ryo was a self-proclaimed biggest fangirl of Riku and spent much of her time chasing Riku around. She has shown up at his house, followed him around like a puppy, and secretly put a webcam in Riku's room. Riku only let her be around him since she was friends with Sora and Kairi. That, and Sora threatened to share a video of Riku pretending his hairbrush was a microphone and singing the Golden Girls theme song. Riku didn't know that Sora was recording him on his phone.
Suddenly, a man with floppy brown hair and wearing slacks, suspenders, a pink dress shirt, a red bowtie, a grayish-green colored tweed coat, and black boots came out of the box. He found Hurky talking with a spiky haired boy, a silver haired boy, and an auburn haired girl. "Who are you talking to, Hurky?" He asked in a British accent. "Have you made friends with the locals already?"
"Oh, Doctor!" Hurky exclaimed, placing a hand on Sora and Kairi's shoulders. "These are the friends I told you about!"
The Doctor grinned. "Oh, which one of you has that magic remote control?" He asked curiously.
Riku raised his hand with the remote in it. "That would be me."
The Doctor walked over to him and shook his hand. "Ah, yes. Hurky has told me a lot of stories about that remote. It appears you are from an alternate universe?"
The alternate universe, which Riku guessed it to be reality. He did not understand how Hurky could age in one show while him, Sora, and Kairi all remained the same ages in another. While Riku was thinking, the Doctor ran his sonic screwdriver over the remote.
"Hmm, can't get any readings here on this remote." He muttered to himself.
"Do you mind?" Riku asked, irritably taking the remote away from the Doctor's sonic screwdriver.
"Sorry, was just trying to find out some information on your remote." The Doctor explained apologetically as he tried to read his sonic screwdriver. "I can't seem to get any. I was hoping to learn a little bit about the infamous remote."
"I don't know why the remote has powers." Riku explained. "It gives us the ability to not only go inside TV but also stop, fast forward, and rewind time."
Hurky's dark brown eyes lit up. "Ooh, do you think you could reverse my age and turn me into a 19-year-old again?" She asked, feeling hopeful that she could undo all the aging.
"I could try." Riku answered. He pointed the remote at Hurky and pressed rewind. However, it did nothing. "Nope. Nothing."
Hurky's jaw dropped. "Are you serious?!" She asked, frustrated. "Ugh, I can't believe this! How the hell did I age so fast?"
The Doctor had the answer to that question. "Probably because you and Ryo spent time in the Time Vortex. Time usually stands still in it but somehow it's aged you. Then again, my wife was conceived in the Time Vortex because her human parents-"
"-so basically, anything can happen in this Time Vortex." Sora added, scratching his head. He turned to Hurky. "So how old ARE you now?"
Hurky sighed. She really did not want to reveal her current age but she absolutely hated lying. "31."
"31?!" Sora, Riku, and Kairi all yelled in unison.
"Dang, you old now!" Riku blurted out. Sora nudged him on the side with an elbow, motioning for him to shut his mouth.
"Now I wouldn't say she's that old." The Doctor commented in Hurky's defense. "I believe that she is still quite young. She has a whole life ahead of her."
"Yeah, guys!" Hurky retorted. She plucked out a silvery strand of hair from underneath her bangs. "Just because I've got gray hair doesn't mean my life is over!"
Sora smiled. "You're not gray, you're silver!" He pointed out, trying to remain positive. "You're Riku!"
"Hey!" Riku shouted. "There's only ONE silver haired person and that's-"
"-So what are the Weeping Angels, Doctor?" Sora interrupted, not wanting to hear Riku rant about his hair color. "How did they take Ryo and put her back in time?"
The Doctor hung his head and sighed. "They are statues, or at least appear to be, that look like angels." He explained, still feeling sadness from the loss of Ryo. "They can create a time paradox just by touching you. They get their energy just by stealing energy from the years that person would have lived in their present."
Riku was shocked, for once. He actually missed his stalker. As much as she annoyed the living daylights out of him, Riku never wanted anything bad to happen to her. Well, maybe for her to go someplace else and bug some other silver haired guy. Riku felt like his love life was in the gutter after it became obvious Sora and Kairi liked each other. That was, until Ryo came along. He realized that she was a blessing in disguise and now she was gone forever.
Sora noticed his best bud was distraught, leading to him placing a hand on his shoulder. "I'm sorry, Riku."
Riku wiped his eyes. "It's cool." He lied. He chose to change the subject in order to prevent himself from bursting into tears. Instead, he decided to change the subject. "So, you guys travel around in a magic outhouse?" He asked, pointing to the blue box.
The Doctor glared at Riku, annoyed. "What? No, this is a TARDIS!" He patted the large blue Police Box.
"A what?" Sora asked quizzically.
"Time And Relative Dimension In Space." The Doctor explained. "My TARDIS is bigger that you think."
Riku snickered. "That's what-" He said until Kairi kicked his left leg from behind, causing him to collapse to the ground in pain. "Ow! Kairi, why did you do that?"
"How can you act so immature after hearing your girlfriend is gone forever?" She yelled angrily.
Riku stood up and dusted himself off, trying to ignore the pain in his leg. "I'll have you know, she wasn't my girlfriend!" He shouted defensively.
The Doctor, deciding to do some damage control, opened the door to his TARDIS. "Why don't you all step inside?" He suggested.
Sora stared at the blue box, bewildered. "You expect all of us to fit in there?" He cried. Hurky sighed and rolled her dark brown eyes, pushing Sora inside the blue box, only for him to fall on the floor. He dusted himself off and stood up, only to stare at what was in front of him. It was a large room, illuminated with a warm orange-like light. There was a hexagon-shaped console in the middle of the room, surrounded by glass floors. "G-guys, you gotta come check this out!"
Riku and Kairi stepped inside, also to be astonished at the size of the room. Riku looked over his shoulder to the door, with the Doctor and Hurky still standing outside.
"No way..." Sora breathed in awe, looking around. "How is this possible?"
The Doctor, who was already inside, closed the door behind him and walked over to Sora. "Did I ever tell you this was also a time machine?"
"So your outhouse is basically like my remote." Riku said, pulling his remote out of his pocket and staring at it. "Except you can poop in it!"
"This TARDIS has bathrooms inside, now will you stop calling it an outhouse?" The Doctor yelled defensively. He stretched his arm out to an entrance. "This TARDIS just does a lot of wibbly wobbly, timey wimey...stuff."
"Wibbly wobbly?" Sora repeated, raising an eyebrow. "Meaning you can't explain this to us."
"Basically. If I told you, then Hurky might age another 31 years!" Joked the Doctor.
"HEY!" Hurky yelled, feeling insulted.
"Think about it this way, Hurk!" Riku said, grinning and placing a hand on her shoulder. "You'll be able to get the senior citizens discount at the stores in town!"
Hurky raised an eyebrow. "Don't you gotta be 65 for that?" She asked.
Riku shrugged his shoulders. "Hell if I know." He took the remote out of his pocket. "Anyway, who wants to go to Impractical Jokers?"
"Come on, Riku." Sora pleaded. "Don't you want to stay and help out Hurk? We gotta turn her back into a teenager!"
"Young adult." Hurky corrected him. Sora rolled his eyes. "I was just past my teen years."
Kairi took Riku's hand into hers and looked directly into his bright green eyes with her lavender colored ones. "Do this for us, Riku." She begged, making her eyes look more puppy-eyed the more she stared. "Besides, you may also find Ryo!"
Riku pulled his hand away from Kairi, feeling pain and grief from listening to Ryo's name. "I don't want to talk about her." Hold in the tears, Riku. "Now who wants to go to Impractical Jokers?"
Sora grinned slyly, hatching an idea. "But Riku." He said in a singsong voice, sauntering behind Riku. "You can't go to Impractical Jokers...WITHOUT YOUR REMOTE!" With that, he snatched the remote that was hanging out of Riku's back pocket and began to run around the console, grinning.
"Ugh, Sora!" Riku yelled, beginning to run after his best friend. "Give that back!"
"Try and catch me!" Sora shouted.
The Doctor did not like Sora and Riku running around in such a small space. "Oi, knock it off, you two, or you'll break something!" He yelped.
Riku and Sora ran around the console like two schoolchildren, playing keep away with the remote. The Doctor got fed up and snatched the remote from Sora, causing the two boys to stop running.
"This is my console and I don't want you two running around destroying things!" The Doctor lectured as he held the remote up in the air. "One of you will get hurt!"
Riku sighed. "If I stay here to find Ryo, can I have my remote back?"
The Doctor studied the remote once more and looked back to Riku, nodding. He began to hand it back to Riku, who took it back but suddenly lost his grip on the remote, causing it to fall to the floor and shattered into pieces.
