Summary: Terra Gale is taking too long to conquer.

Divide & Conquer

This whole process was taking entirely too long. The feeble-minded people of Terra Gale were proving to be annoyingly strong-willed. Dark Ace was almost to the point of assigning someone else to finish this job.Until he remembered the reward he'd get when Terra Gale and its people were conquered.Dark Ace bit his tongue behind closed lips to prevent the smirk he so longed to let appear on his face. It wouldn't do him any good to rouse suspicion. His Master had decided that she didn't want too much time wasted on searching the whole of Atmos for a suitable area to call a home of sorts and had chosen Terra Gale, mainly because of its proximity to what used to be considered the sacred grounds of Cyclonia.Cyclonia. The majority of it lay in a large pile of rubble. Dark Ace could feel his hands involuntarily tense around the handles of his flyer. Relax, he assured himself, though the voice spoken in his head sounded vaguely like hers. The destruction of old Cyclonia was not completely unwanted, and as long as Master Cyclonis still exists there will always be a Cyclonia. A new Cyclonia land will rise and she will overrule all of Atmos. All in due time."Sir? We're closing in on Terra Gale now, sir," a Talon close behind him said. Their mission was almost complete. The plan, as it was, had been fairly simple. The protectors would be taken first in a surprise attack, to ensure that reinforcements couldn't be called in time to spoil carefully made plans. Then, the citizens of Terra Gale would be taken and used to help recover and resurrect Cyclonia. Anything that could be recovered from the old Cyclonia would be taken to the newer. They hadn't been forced to stray too far away from the plans, but had still been pushed behind schedule. Dark Ace looked forward to having a permenant place to collect his thoughts and train again. He looked forward to the end of this and getting back to her.And this five-day long venture (that should have only taken two, he grumbles) will end as soon as he dodges this oncoming mattress and captures the last two inhabitants of this godforsaken Terra.
