Poison

Disclaimer : I don't own the song You're Poison by Alice Cooper or the Stargate Atlantis Universe.

Elizabeth Weir had a problem. She had fallen in love …

Your cruel device

Your blood, like ice

One look could kill

My pain, your thrill

She didn't know if he knew what he did to her. One look at her, sent her weak to knees, yet the same look brought her undue anguish and pain. Did he know, that everytime he flirted with another, her heart shattered a little more?

I want to love you but I better not touch

I want to hold you but my senses tell me to stop

I want to kiss but I want it too much

I want to taste you but your lips are venomous poison

She wanted to love him, but he wasn't hers. She wanted to hold him, but couldn't bear the thought of him never returning. Elizabeth wanted to kiss him, but she knew she could never have him. She wanted to have him, but he could damage her beyond repair.

You're poison running through my veins

You're poison, I don't want to break these chains.

Elizabeth knew her infatuation was dangerous but he was like a drug. She only wanted more. She knew she had to move on but she wouldn't bear to break free from his hold.

Your mouth, so hot

Your web, I'm caught

Your skin, so wet

Black lace on sweat

She couldn't free herself from her fantasy, her dream world. She wished he would see her in that way, but it never came true. She needed to break free, but didn't want too. He was her escape.

I hear you calling and its needles and pins

I want to hurt you just to hear you screaming my name

Don't want to touch you but you're under my skin

Elizabeth would hear him calling, and butterflies would emerge in her stomach. When he talked to her, she would get pins and needles. Elizabeth hoped he never noticed what he did to her, without even touching her. She wanted to hurt him, argue with him, anything just to hear him saying her name.

I want to kiss you but your lips are venomous poison

You're poison running through my veins

You're poison, I don't want to break these chains

Elizabeth wanted him close, but he was dangerous. She knew it wasn't healthy but she couldn't give him up, even if she knew she had to. He was her poison, her downfall and she never wanted to let go.

Poison

Yes John Sheppard was poison, but only to Elizabeth Weir.
