Naruto never told anyone, but he liked mirrors. He liked gazing at his reflection in just about anything, be it water, mirrors, shiny metal; as long as it was reflective.

He wasn't a narcissist by any means. If he told anyone, they probably wouldn't believe him. Naruto liked mirrors, for many reasons.

They reminded him of Haku; someone that held a special place for his heart. He could never look at a mirror without glimpsing the image of Haku's smiling face. If the way Sasuke flinched, ever-so slightly, every time he looked at a mirror was anything to go by, he couldn't as well.

Haku could be considered one of Naruto's role models; he truly did take his beliefs to heart.

But that wasn't really why Naruto liked mirrors.

Another reason, was because his reflection never called him names, looked at him darkly or just generally trampled all over him. It was nice, knowing there was always one person that wouldn't look at him without a trace of disgust. Least, for something he couldn't control.

That too, was not the real reason.

Naruto liked mirrors, because they reassured him. They reminded him, that he was still human; that the Kyuubi hadn't taken control. Every time he woke up from a nightmare; one of Kyuubi taking over, he would glance at the mirror and sigh in relief; the reflection helping him relax and believe that it was only a dream.

Naruto truly liked his mirrors.
