Normal

Rating: PG

Spoilers: Nope

Genre: fluff/Romance

Summary: Ron

Characters: Ron Weasley, Hermione Granger

Pairings: R/H

Disclaimer: I do not own Harry Potter, I just like to play with the characters!

A/N: They're just so darn cute! And this is so darn cheesy!

I didn't put this in my TbaW series because it didn't seem very relevant, plus I like R/H too much to hide it in a chaptered story about the Weasley's. xD

I am still writing Weasley one shots though, so don't leave reviews asking me when I'm going to update, I'll do it when inspiration strikes me!

Anyhoo, hasn't been Beta'd has been spellchecked, if there are mistakes, I'm only human.

Enjoy!

Hermione wasn't a normal girl.

She didn't giggle or flutter, she didn't apply endless coats of make up to her face, she didn't moan about spots or imperfections, she didn't even seem to be that interested in clothes or shopping, unless you counted buying endless amounts of books.

Her clothes consisted of sensible skirts, comfy jeans, warm jumpers and simple t-shirts. Practical -not pretty, long-lasting and hard-wearing. This never stopped her from borrowing Ron's jumpers and t-shirts though; she'd slip them over her underwear if she was just staying in or wear them over jeans if they were going out.

Ron didn't mind, she looked feminine in his clothes in a way that she never did in her own. One of Ron's favourite sights was Hermione sitting, cross-legged on his bed-their bed, wearing only his hoodie and a small, black pair of shorts, her hair tied back in a bushy ponytail, smudges of ink on her face and neck and nibbling thoughtfully on a quill as she scribbled notes onto parchment.

Secretly, seeing her nestled in his clothes, made Ron feel a twinge of something like ownership. She was so perfect and she was all his, there was no one else she argued with in quite the same way, there was no one else that received her 'Oh, Ron' exasperated look, reserved just for him and there was no one else in the world that got to kiss her like Ron did. He'd never tell her this of course, he expected Hermione wouldn't take too kindly to being owned.

She'd roll her eyes at him, when she saw him, leaning against the door frame and watching her.

"Honestly Ron, how am I supposed to work when you're staring like that?"

Hermione may look delicate and sweet in Ron's clothes but she still acted as independent, argumentative and bossy as usual.

No, Hermione was not a normal girl.

But Ron wouldn't change her for the world.
