Centrefold
Ed tilted his head to the left and frowned. He tilted it to the right and his nose wrinkled slightly. He pursed his lips.
"It's not bad." He said with absolutely no interest in his voice. Havoc looked at him and then shook his head at the younger blond. He lifted the picture up higher, making the paper rustle. He made sure it was right in front of Edward's face.
"Not bad? Look at her legs, look at that hair, that figure and the size of her…"
"Her what?" The Colonel's voice interrupted them and he looked over Ed's shoulder at the picture. He surveyed the long legged, big breasted, naked, and almost tastefully draped across a bed, woman. "Very tasty, Havoc. Is that the latest issue?"
"Yep. But the Boss here seems not to appreciate it at all."
"Really? I would have thought that even you would have been able to see the attributes displayed here, Fullmetal."
"I've seen better," Ed said casually, ignoring the Colonel's jibe.
"Seen better?" Havoc and the Colonel stared at the blond alchemist, then at each other and back to Edward. Edward was barely eighteen, no-one had seen him with anyone, either male or female and it was all they could do not to laugh at him. Edward ignored them and stepped away as Hawkeye approached, file in hand, and obviously on her way out for the evening.
"It's all organised," she said as she handed him a file. Edward nodded and picked up his coat from the back of his chair. "Your train leaves at ten tomorrow morning."
"There's a small place that does the best breakfasts," Edward remarked. "They deliver too." He smiled at her.
"We can do that," Hawkeye replied as they left the room together.
"Breakfast?" Havoc blinked. "Did I just miss something?"
"I think we both missed it." Mustang said as they both stared at the empty doorway.
"You don't think he was referring to Hawkeye when he said that he'd seen better?" Havoc asked as he looked back at the centrefold.
There was a long pause before Mustang replied, his voice doubtful. "No, it couldn't be."
They looked at each other. "Could it?"
