Hi people,

well, this is a result of my boredom during English classes. We didn't have anything to do so I decided to write down an idea which came to me while I was thinking about my story "Following the heart". I hope you like it. Please let me know, because I LOVE reviews. :D

In the rain

"Cameron" House yelles at her when she stepped out of the elevator. He limped from the clinic to her while she kept on walking to the main entrance.

"What do you want House?" she asked annoyed. She looked tired. Obviously she'd just finished a hard shift.

"Why the hell did you tell my staff what to do with my patient?" he hissed when he caught up to her.

She sighed desperately and rubbed her hand at the abck of her nack."Because you were about to kill your patient with the treatment. You know exactly what would possibly happen."

Rolling his eyes he pushed the door to the main entrance open and continued walking with her. "You know me. I like to experiment."

Cameron stopped abruptly, which caused him to stop too, and looked at him with a hint of a glare in those green eyes.

"You can't experiment with patients. And worse, you can't just not tell the patient about it."

He stared at her.

"You didn't object so much when you were working for me. One more thing, stay away from my patient and my staff." he said sternly.

Instantly after House's words, it began to rain.

"Great." he muttured. He began to limp towards the building when he heard her voice.

"You won't start that treatment or I'll tell Cuddy on you."

He turned to her and glared with those icy blue eyes. "Aw, are you going to tell me on mummy Cuddy?" he said with a childish voice.

"You are not my boss nor will I feel in any way threatened by you. Is that clear?" he added angrily.

Cameron's face turned red. She was tired, annoyed, wet and angry. Her clothes were drenched and stuck to her skin. She stormed to him and pointed her index finger in his face.

"I don't care if you think you're the best, maybe you are. I also don't care what you do to yourself or to me, but you will not put a patients life in risk just to prove a stupid point. It's too dangerous this time." she said, her voice raising with every word. "I'm not your employee anymore. I don't have to watch you do crazy things without reacting. This time I can and will stop you."

Her finger still in his face, House raised a hand, took her wrist and took her hand away from him.

"You're not God. You can't ju-"

Cameron's speech was interupted by a pair of lips on hers. At first, she didn't realize what was happening but before she could respond to his kiss, his lips were gone. Cameron held her eyes still closed, hoping he'd kiss her again, but he didn't. She opened her eyes bringing her fingers to her still warm lips from the kiss and looked at him.

"Wh-Why did you do that?"

He shrugged and answered. "You were talking way to much."

Seeing her rolling his eyes he added. "I wanted to prove a stupid point. I can do what I want without you stopping me. And this risk was worth it."

Those last words said, he winked at her and started to head back to PPTH, leaving a still surprised and by now smiling Cameron.
