Blue

Rose Weasley loved the color blue.

She didn't really have any reasoning behind why she loved that particular color. It could have been because of her affiliation with Ravenclaw (surprise, surprise, she was the first Weasley not in Gryffindor), but she had liked the color before she was sorted into her House at Hogwarts. It could have been any number of reasons, but she couldn't place it. She just loved blue—most of her clothes were blue, her book bag was blue, she liked to tie blue ribbons in her hair. Yet, for some reason, people didn't seem to realize that she favored that color.

Rose Weasley hated the color red.

It might have been the Weasley red hair, or the Weasley tendency to blush bright red, that caused the girl to loathe the color. But mainly, Rose believed that she hated the color red was people's tendency to give her red roses. For birthdays, for achievements, for Valentine's Day—always a dozen, long stemmed, red roses. People thought it was clever to give her roses because it was her namesake and what not and it was funny the first couple times. Now the silly things have completely turned her off the color. It seemed people had gotten the impression she liked it.

But when Scorpius Malfoy left her roses on Valentine's Day in their seventh year, she knew he was a keeper. They were charmed blue.
