LABOR DAY

"Owww!"

"Dammit!!"

"YYYEEEOOOWWW!!

Every time Hermione yelled, the little group cringed. Huddled together at the bottom of the stairs at the Burrow were Harry Potter, Ron & Ginny Weasley, Rolanda Hooch, Filius Flitwick, Pomona Sprout, Neville Longbottom, Luna Lovegood and Arthur Weasley.

"OOOOHHHHH!"

"AAAHHHH... Yie-Yie-Yie-Yee!!"

"Hermione! Let Go!!"

"SHUT UP! YOU DID THIS TO MEEEEEEE!!"

Harry looked at Ginny who glanced at Ron who turned beet red looking at Rolanda who smirked at Filius who rolled his eyes at Pomona who grinned at Neville who smiled at Luna who gazed dreamily at Arthur, who said, "I hope Hermione doesn't mean that." He closed his eyes remembering all the vile things Molly had shouted at him when she was in labor.

"Push Hermione!"

Arthur raised his head at his wife's voice.

"I AM pushing dammit!! OW! OoooHH! EEEEE!!"

The soft voice of Poppy Pomphrey was heard, "It'll be alright."

"EASY FOR YOU TO SAY!! YOU"RE NOT HAVING A LITTER!!" Screamed Hermione.

Minerva McGonagall's panicked voice was heard.

"Hermione you're breaking my hand!!"

"You're lucky I don't break something else!!" Came the disgruntled reply.

Minerva whimpered pathetically;

"You said you wanted a baby..."

"Yes! A BABY... Not four!!" Her wife shrieked maniacally.

"OOOOOHHHH!"

"YOW!"

"OH GOD! OOWWWW!"

The little group, who had gotten together earlier that day to celebrate Neville & Luna's engagement, glanced at each other nervously. "Four?" Ron whispered, blue eyes wide as saucers. "Poor Hermione." Ginny muttered, imagining the pain who best friend must be going through. "Poor Minerva..." Arthur stated. He saw the group looking at him curiously.
"Molly never lets me forget the 647 hours she was in labor with our brood." Harry chuckled. "Hermione wouldn't do that."

Suddenly there was the sound of a small explosion. The group jumped out of the way as a silver grey tabby cat raced passed them with her tail smoking.

Arthur winked, "I think she just might."
