A/N:

Moro: I have been having odd urges to write one-shots. Now my notebook is full of them. I am gonna post a few of my favorites. I might have something in here other than RoyEd but no promises. I'll look. Until I find one you all are gonna have to live with it.

Rom: You are surprisingly calm today, Moro.

Moro: Who let you in here?!

Rom: Hachi let me in! He said something about Disney World and ran off.

Moro: Oh…he better bring me back something. Care to do the disclaimer?

Rom: Don't mind if I do.

Disclaimer:

Rom: Moro doesn't own Fullmetal Alchemist.

Moro: That's it? That's all you're gonna say?

Rom: What else is there to say?

Moro: I don't know. Usually we think up something witty and humorous to say.

Rom: Oh.

Without further delay…

BOOM!

Ed jumped. He was lying on his back in a king sized bed with blood red sheets listening to the thunderstorm outside. Sounds crazy? You would too if you couldn't sleep. You would too if every time you closed your eyes you saw the horribly disfigured and mangled form of the mother you failed to bring back. You would too if every time you closed your eyes you saw the faces of all the people you'd killed. It was nearly midnight and Roy hadn't come home from the office yet. Ed was worried he got caught in the storm. It pained him to admit it, but he needed that bastard.

BOOM!

CLASH!

Lightning broke the skies. Ed shivered. The bed was cold without Roy there by his side. The bed was too big without Roy in it with him. Ed wished his lover would hurry up and get home already. The house was too quiet without him. Too empty.

BZZT!

CLICK!

It was black. Pitch black. The only light was from the occasional flash of lightning outside. Ed shut his eyes tightly and pulled the covers up over his head. Lonely.

Click…

Swish…

Thump thump thump thump thump thump thump thump thump thump thump thump thump thump thump thump…

Roy walked slowly into the room, dripping with rainwater. He quickly toweled off and took off his shoes. Not even bothering to change out of his military uniform, he crawled under the covers and pulled Ed close to his chest. Later, Ed would always claim he had been asleep.

A/N:

Moro: Well, Rom, what did you think?

Rom: I don't know what to think. Care to explain?

Moro: You are a newbie at this, I guess. -sigh- Ed is always acting tough with his "I don't need anybody" tough guy act, right?

Rom: Uh huh…go on…

Moro: Roy, being the good little seme he is, can see through Ed's act but he doesn't confront him about it or anything because he loves Ed just the way he is. So stubborn.

Rom: Wow…what a run-on.

Moro: Hey! You asked!
