The Five

1. The Prophet's Song - Queen

I lived, once upon a time, in a world rotten and corrupt, with no sense of true justice. So I made my own justice, for I was a prophet, spoken to by the man above. The humans were to bring there own destruction and I was to bring forth the tools to stop it. Blood was shed, I admit, it came down like rain from the heavens, dispelling on the unworthy and ridding the world of them.

I lived, once upon a time, in a world rotten and corrupt, with no sense of true justice. but there was one who seemed to stand above all the others. He spoke of the evils of my world, the one I was fated to create. His words spread like wildfire, and the ones who once followed me turned against. I was crushed and determined to crush this man back. I would have my victory I swore, I would.It would be mine, the prophet Kira's. Oh yes, mine it would be soon. Maybe I was mad, maybe I was a genius, but they would hear me and follow me. Me, the prophet and his song of justice.

"Listen to the mad man..."

2. Alison - Elvis Costello

L looked at Light and shook his head. He was drunk, maddeningly so, and was dancing in a very provocative way with some nameless man and was getting raped with several mens' eyes. Oh, he wished that he would look over at him, that Light would glance over at L and see that he wanted what was best for him.

Light simply continued to dance like a hooker and L gazed at him sadly.

3. The Best Damn Thing - Avril Lavigne

Light glared angerly at L and slammed his hand down on the table.

"Damn it L! If you continue to treat me so worthlessly I will leave you I swear!"

L glanced at the screaming Yagami teen and rolled his eyes. He got up and turned to the counter to get his cake and began to eat it. Light got even angerier and yelled loudly;

"I'm the best damn thing your eyes have ever seen!"

4. Clubland - Elvis Costello

Light smiled coyly at the man next to him and crossed his legs sensually. He leaned forward and cocked his head to the side.

"So what do you do for a living Lawiet-san?"

The man, named L Lawiet, turned and looked at Light, who was doing his best to look sexy and take-home-able. He licked the spoon he'd been using to eat sugar with, causing Light to wince, and said tiredly;

"I'm a detective here to expose you and your friends."

5. Crazy Little Thing Called Love - Queen

L didn't understand it quite so much. Love seemed to sneak up on him and take him by complete surprise. Not entirely surprisingly, he fell in love with some nameless young man who had passed by the coffee shop he frequented. He'd never been one to really familiaize with other people.

Imagine the surprise upon his face when the young man came in one day and sat down to say;

"Hello, I think I love you."

A.N. Yes, I decided to this little chalenge, which was to put your media player on shuffle and for five songs, write five different things for the duration of the song. I found it really fun, even though now you all probably think that I'm a big Queen and Elvis Costello fan (Well, I am, but I listen to a lot of things.)
