I...I don't know what to say. I was watching Chicago and I realized that, once you realize that the guy singing this song is lying through his teeth, it's a perfect fit for Joshua. This...this monster was spawned as a result. I am so sorry.

He was the Composer. He deserved to be overdramatic every now and then. And he had the power to make everyone else go along with it.

The spotlight focused on Kitanji, standing on the side of the stage. "Ladies and gentleman, the silver-tongued prince of Shibuya: the one, the only…Joshua Kiryu!" he announced. The curtains opened, and the music played. Reapers lined the well-lit stairs, and Joshua stood at the top. He was dressed in Mus Rattus clothes, smiling warmly. The boy straightened his cap and smiled, beginning to sing in a warm tenor.

"I don't care about expensive things- cashmere coats, diamond rings," he waved his hand in a dismissive gesture. "Don't mean a thing. All I care about is love!" He waved his hand at the Reaper's.

"That's what he's here for!"

Joshua began slowly descending the stairs, the Reapers flocking around him. "I don't care for wearing silk cravats, ruby studs, satin spats- don't mean a thing. All I care about is love!"

"All he cares about is love!" The Reapers echoed.

Neku was, incredibly reluctantly, pulled from backstage, and Joshua grinned, wrapping an arm around the other boy's shoulders. "Give me two eyes of blue, softly saying-" The Reapers leaned in to whisper with him "-I need you." Joshua grinned "Let me see him standing there and- honest mister I'm a millionaire!" Neku grimaced and pushed Joshua away, and Joshua fell into the waiting arms of a group of Reapers. He straightened up, the Reapers flocking around him. "I don't care for any fine attire. Vanderbilt might admire- no, no, not me. All I care about is love!"

"All he cares about is love!" The Reapers echoed. Joshua began to whistle along with the music, wrapping his arms around Neku. Neku pushed him away, muttering insults. Joshua grabbed his arm, pulling Neku into a twirl and dip. "That's what he's here for!" The Reapers sang as Neku vaulted out of Joshua's arms. Joshua grinned, running a hand through Neku's hair.

"Show my long orange hair, hanging down, 'bout to there," He flicked a lock of Neku's hair, earning a punch in the shoulder in response. "When I see her running free- keep your money, that's enough for me!"

"Joshua, you sick bastard!" Neku snapped as Joshua wrapped his arms around Neku from behind.

"I don't care for driving Packard cars!" Joshua sang as Neku struggled.

"Let go of me!" Neku snapped.

"Or smoking long, buck cigars! No, no, not me," Joshua grinned twirling Neku around to face him. Joshua continued to sing, oblivious to Neku's protests. "All I care about is doing the guy in-"

"I swear, if you don't get your hands off-" Neku snarled.

"Who's picking on you-" Joshua continued, grinning.

"Will you get off?!" Neku growled, trying in vain to push Joshua away.

"Twisting the wrist that's turning the screw!" The Reapers moved in close as Joshua held Neku's wrists, holding the struggling boy in place.

"All I care about iis looooooove!" Joshua sang. The music ended, and Joshua grinned. Neku narrowed his eyes.

"You know, Sir, it probably wasn't the best idea to try and seduce him like that," Kitanji remarked. Joshua held the ice pack to his bruised jaw, grinning.

"Are you kidding, Kitanji?" Joshua laughed. "That was the most fun I've had in years! We must do this again sometime!"

If I ever come up with a sequal for thi, you have every right to beat me over the head with a blunt object. Though doing one for "Both Reached For the Gun" would be interesting... Make sure to review!
