ok guys this is my first fanfic, i have a few chapters saved up but i dunno if it's worth continuing. Please all feed back is welcome, even if it burns!

CHAPTER 1- HOW BELLA OF YOU (EPOV)

"I'm so pumped for this camp man, I mean seriously 6 whole months away from parents, teachers AND the cheerleaders from hell!" I smiled at the happily at the idea of not having to hide from the horde of girls that followed me around campus.

"Hey my girlfriend and your sister are one of those 'cheerleaders from hell' you're talking about!" Emmet said punching my arm. I grinned as we headed to the change rooms after basketball training.

"But I know what you mean man, 6 months of just us and the court it's like heaven on earth. Well except the gruelling trainings that makes you sweat so much you could fill three swimming pools!" Emmet said sitting across from me on a bench and leaning back against the cold cement walls.

Jasper opened his locker and started pulling out clothes; we were weird friends I guess. Jasper was always calm and honest but he could be a real bitch if you hurt anyone he was close to. He was dating my sister Alice and they were completely perfect for each other. Then there was Emmet, where do I start! He is definitely the comedian in our little group; he is huge and would be very intimidating to anyone who didn't know him. He is dating Rosalie who is Jasper's twin. So with those two couples I guess you could call me the fifth wheel. Not that I was ever short of a date, but I had never really "dated" anyone long enough for them to be accepted as part of our group.

"Well, personally I'm not so pumped about it I mean 6 whole months away from Alice, the guys will be all over her!" Jasper commented angrily.

It was true Alice was gorgeous and a cheerleader, it was enough to drive all the guys at our school crazy. That's why I was glad Alice had Jasper it saved me the trouble of doing the whole protective brother thing. Emmet groaned, if Jasper thought he had a problem with keeping guys of Alice, Emmet had a world crisis with Rosalie. She was practically the incarnation of all beauty but I knew she could deal with the guys, she's too much of a bitch to let the guys even come near her.

"Ok hurry up Edward, we have to meet the girls, I wanna spend as much time with Alice before we leave!" Jasper said bouncing up and down a little. God he was like the male version of Alice...scary!

"Ok Ok I'm coming, seriously Jasper stop channelling Alice. It's freaking me out!" I said pulling my clothes on and grabbing my bag, as the guys left the change rooms.

"Well hello boys! You finally came out, god I swear you take longer than Rosalie to get ready!" Alice screamed as we jogged up to where they were sitting on the bleachers in the gym.

"Oh you're hilarious Alice, but seriously I don't think anyone in the world takes as long as Rose to get ready!" I grinned over at Rose; she faked a glare then giggled.

"Omg we have news!" Alice said bouncing in her seat, yeah she was definitely rubbing off on Jasper!

"OMG what, tell me! Tell me!" mimicked Emmet bouncing so hard, I feared the floor might just give way beneath him.

"Seriously Emmet if you're going to mimic me at least make it look like me, you look like an elephant who really needs to pee!" Alice said rolling her eyes at Emmet. He just grinned and swatted her, she dodged him and continued bouncing.

"Hurry up and tell us before you break the seat," I said now exasperated.

"Well...WE ARE COMING WITH YOU TO THE BASKETBALL CAMP, THEY HAVE CHEERLEADING THERE TOO AND COACH SAID WE CAN COME ALONG IF WE WANT!!" she screamed in one breath.

"YES! THANK GOD!" Jasper screamed back, obviously feeling the excitement. I sat down with a huff as the celebrated. 'Well this just sucks' I thought to myself. Now not only would I have to put up with the freaking cheer squad at school they would be living in a dorm near me for 6 whole months.

"Awww what's wrong Eddie? Worried your girlfriends will get ya' cornered and have their evil way with you?" she giggled into Jaspers arms which were wrapped around her from behind.

"Shut up Alice and yes I am worried. I have to live near LAUREN for Christ sake. God, why do you hate me?" I asked, looking up at the roof of the huge gym. Everyone laughed at that and I just glared at them.

"Oh don't worry Edward, we will just have to find another cheerleader up there to keep your mind off Lauren, then when you're not training you hang out with us and you will never have to see Lauren!" Rose said supportively, she actually could be nice to her friends but when she didn't like someone the claws really came out. It was quite fun to watch actually. I smiled at her and the girls got down from the bleachers. Just as Alice cam down the last step she tripped and fell, luckily Jasper was right behind her and caught her arm before her face crashed into the ground. It was silent for a moment then Emmet broke out in a booming laugh and everyone joined in

"How Bella of you, Alice!" Emmet said laughing, probably at the memory of one of our best friend's. Her name was Bella and she had been my best friend, I loved her as anyone loved a best friend. Her frizzy hair, braces and klutziness was what made her Bella. Everything about her had been perfect, though she hadn't realised that. Then she left with her mother and I lost my best friend. Ever since she left we had started using that phrase when someone fell or tripped because Bella was known to trip and fall a lot. As the guys left I sat down and remembered the last time I saw Bella.

FLASHBACK

"Come on guys we have to go get Bella!" Rose screamed at us from Emmet's room. We were all going to see a movie because it was the last day of summer and Jasper and Rosalie's 13th birthday.

We all piled into the care and hurried to Bella's, dad told us to go get Bella and come out. We raced to the door and knocked. While we waited we heard an angry growl and something being pushed aside. The door flung open and standing there was a very angry, scary looking Charlie. When he saw us his face relaxed slightly and he stood aside.

"She's upstairs guys," he said resignedly, his shoulders slumped forward as he stalked into the kitchen.

"Wonder what's wrong with Charlie," said Alice as we climbed up the stairs silently, usually Charlie was happy and cracking jokes when we came over. I pushed the door to Bella's room open, at first I didn't see her but then my eyes crossed over a small figure huddled up in the corner crying her eyes out. We all rushed over to Bella thinking she was hurt.

"What's wrong Bella? Are you ok? Are you hurt?" I asked frantically running my hands over her arms and back to check for any signs of injury.

"No," she sniffled and grabbed my hand, holding it tightly between hers.

"What's the matter then?" Rose asked, sounding relieved.

"Mum and dad got into...a...fight," she said between sniffs.

"They are separating...and mum is taking me away!" she choked out before collapsing into another series of sniffles, muffling her breath with her hands. We all sat there shocked, Renee and Charlie always seemed happy when we were there. I finally found my voice and lifted Bella's face to look me in the eye.

"Where is she taking you Bella?" I asked in a strained voice, this couldn't be happening. My best friend was...leaving?

"Phoenix, she is going to live there and she said it would be better for me to live with her, she already left. I'm going tomorrow," she said in a small voice, the pain in her eyes was overwhelming

"Tomorrow?" Alice choked on the word, tears spilling out of her eyes. We all sat in silence for a few minutes then Bella got up. She fiercely swiped away her tears and held her hand out to me.

"What are you doing?" Jasper asked in a sad voice.

"It's our last day together, it's the last day of summer and most importantly it's your birthday. We are going to have fun, no matter how much it hurts. Come on Alice get off the floor hun!" Bella said pulling a teary Alice up and wrapping her in a hug.

END OF FLASHBACK

My memory faded into the back of my mind, how I wished I could see her again. I got up grabbed my stuff and headed out side to my car. Time to pack for 6 months with Lauren Mallory, I opened my car door still thinking of ways to get rid of her.

"I wonder if bug spray would work," I thought out loud to myself.
