A single glance.

That's all it took.

A flash of hazel was all she got as he walked by, pushing his rounded glasses up his nose as he made his way out of the library. She was reading her own book, curled up in one of the high-backed chairs, completely lost in her own world.

His sauntering step on the wooden tiled floor shattered her peace and she looked up irritably from her book to see him walking by. Normally, she would have ignored him. But something...something about his disheveled looking, melted-toffee colored hair, something about the firm and cynical set of his thin lips, something about his whole persona set off bells in her head and drove her to observe him as he passed.

He wasn't supposed to catch her stare, and she was supposed to look away before her curiosity took over and kept her eyes trained on him.

But he did look up, surprised by the openly interested gaze she had. Before he could look further into it, she turned away, flushed pink with both embarrassment and mortified confusion.

It didn't concern him, so he simply continued walking out of the library.

But for her, it was everything. Yes, falling so suddenly and so dramatically in love with Indiana Jones was EVERYTHING to her. She gasped, a hand flying to her forehead which was suddenly pulsing with warmth.

It was fleeting, the kind of thing that no one notices but the ones doing it. Surprising, extremely off setting and all around terrifying. But it happened, and in that mere second of suspended time, in that one frozen sector of forever, she fell in love with him.

A glance, so expeditious that had the room not been so quiet she would not have noticed it.

But she did.

And she fell for him.

She fell for him hard.

Tiny itsy bitsy one-shot much? Yeah, because I was too lazy to write more but too antsy to write nothing. I've been procrastinating an essay for school and I thought I'd waste time by writing this tiny little vignette.

Read and review, please...you know I love reviews.
