"You're impossible," Jacob whispers, pushing Leah up against the nearest tree.

"So I've been told," Leah says.

"You're stubborn," Jacob continues.

"Like I didn't know that," Leah says.

"You're empty," Jacob says. "You're emotionless."

Then they kiss. Impossible, stubborn, empty, emotionless Leah gives her all to Jacob. And he does the same for her.

"Anything else?" Leah asks as they pull away from each other.

"I need you," Jacob answers. He puts his face closer to hers, so they are almost touching.

Leah laughs a humorless laugh. "I'll remember that," she says before they kiss again.
