A/N: This is the re-written version of a fic I wrote a while back. It's still the same basic storyline, but I tweaked a few things here and there.

Disclaimer: I do not own Digimon.

Sunrise.

No matter how much she tossed and turned, Tailmon just couldn't sleep. The fact that there were birds singing outside really didn't help matters. After a few more minutes of tossing about, she decided to see if there was anything to eat in the kitchen.

Tailmon huffed, and folded her arms across her chest, tail twitching in annoyance. A careful search of the kitchen hadn't turned up anything that she'd care to eat, and now she wondered what to do next. She didn't want to go back to bed if tossing and turning was all she had to look forward to.

It was then that she saw the small Digmon gazing out of the window, and a sly smile crossed her face as she headed towards him.

"What are you doing?"

Patamon nearly jumped out of his skin at the unexpected question. Turning, he frowned at her.

"Don't do that!"

"Why shouldn't I?" She repiled, smirking, and then, when he didn't answer, repeated her eariler question. "So? What are you doing?"

"Watching the sun rise."

"Why?"

"Why?" Patamon echoed, surprised. "Because it's nice to watch everything grow lighter as the sun slowly comes up." Then, shooting her a sly glance. "But then, you never get up before midday, do you?"

"Hey!," she huffed, folding her arms. "I do if there's something wrong in the Digiworld!"

A few minutes of silence, then Patamon glanced shyly at her. "Do you want to watch the sun coming up with me?"

"Sure," she answered, smiling and sitting next to him. "Haven't got anything else to do, anyway."
