Notes: The prompt was "Candy" and given to me by illeatchu. I chose to use candy canes to make it a little more Christamasy because I'm in a Christmas sort of mood.

Hanatarou was trying to kill him. There was no other explanation for what the small Shinigami was currently doing. Which was sucking on a piece of candy cane like - well Ganjyu wasn't going to get into exactly what it looked like – either way, it was very provocative. And every once in a while Hana-chan would innocently offer the stick to him for a taste. And Ganjyu would excuse himself to the bathroom.

But today, Ganjyu could take no more. Hanatarou had been eating those things for days, and it was starting to test his self-control, and sanity. Today he would say something. Today he would calmly, and in the nicest way possible, tell Hanatarou exactly what he was doing. Today he would – apparently, kiss his friend breathless. He had always liked the taste of mint, and mixed in with Hanatarou's own taste (and days of frustration), well, let's just say they were occupied for quite a while.

A few hours later . . .

Hanatarou stretched contently as he rolled onto his side to better look at Ganjyu. Both of them were pleasantly exhausted and thinking happy thoughts of having the next day off.

"Finally."

Ganjyu cocked his head in confusion at the (in his opinion) out of the blue statement. "Eh? What do you mean?"

Hanatarou sighed and Ganjyu surreptitiously pinched himself when his little Shinigami friend rolled his eyes. "I've been sucking on candy canes for days. I was wondering when you'd finally get a clue."

"Eh!?"

Hanatarou blushed a little and let his bangs fall into his face. Ganjyu couldn't help but be a little relieved to see him back to normal. As much as Ganjyu had liked the naughtier version (and he'd liked that version very much), he felt a little more grounded with his sweet and innocent Hana-chan back.

"Kuukaku-san said you liked them."

"Eh!?!"
