Disclaimer: Though I wish that I owned Nightmare Before Christmas, I don't. All that credit goes to the genius, Tim Burton.

Author's note: Yes, I know this is kind of a short and slow beginning, but I thought this poem would be cool. I promise that the first chapter will be up as soon as I get a chance to write. Please read, and if you would like, review, and I hope you enjoy.

Poem: New Beginning

Everyone knows that when someone dies

They go to Heaven or Hell for the rest of their lives

But if someone dies on a holiday

They go to that world and that's where they stay

Sure, you may say this is all just a dream

But this is how Jack Skellington became the Pumpkin King

How Cupid, Easter Bunny, and Thanksgiving Turkey bring holidays to the world

How Santa brings Christmas to every good boy and girl

Though Jack's story is my favorite, you don't want to hear

His is the saddest and most frightful story, I fear

What?! You want to hear the story now?

If you'll fall asleep? Don't ask me how

All right, child, sit down, no need to fuss

I'll tell you the story… if I must

But be forewarned, this story may cause a fright

Of how Jack Skellington died on Halloween night
