Ino cracked her knuckles, grinning at the brunette.

Tenten laughed and readied herself.

"You know, at the academy, I always thought you were such a priss who didn't know how to throw a punch!" Tenten called out to rile her friend up.

Ino got into her stance, "I'll show you how to throw a punch bun head!" Ino called out.

With that, Ino ran at Tenten, elbow back, fist clenched, muscles tense.

Tenten was ready for her, as soon as Ino threw her arm forward; Tenten pushed her fist to the side, and grabbed her wrist, twisted it, and kicked Inos' legs out from under her.

Ino hit the ground with a solid thump.

Tenten smirked down at her, "Give up?"

"Not a chance." Ino grabbed Tentens' ankle and pulled her forward. Tenten stumbled and Ino hit the back of her knee, and propelled herself upwards, and simultaneously pushed Tenten to the ground.

"Nice reversal." Tenten commented, and Ino backed away as Tenten got up.

Tenten ran at Ino and threw an open palm for the blonde's chest.

Ino knocked it away and kicked Tenten's thigh, while aiming a punch for her neck.

Tenten knocked her arm back and hit her in the chest, sending her back a few feet. Ino glared from her position and ran at her.

Tenten wasn't expecting her to front hand spring over her.

Ino grabbed Tentens' head as she passed over her, and slammed the brunettes head into the ground.

Tenten groaned on the ground.

"You alright?" Ino called, several feet away, panting.

Tenten nodded and stood, now sporting a throbbing head ache. Filled with vengeance, Tenten ran, fist raised, and Ino lifted to block, but at the last second, Tenten skidded, turned her body, and round house kicked the blonde into a nearby tree.

"Yeah I guess I deserved that one." Ino groaned, picking herself out of the tree.

The wind picked up, swirling around them, as Ino grinned at Tenten, "Let's get this show on the road ne?"

The ground rumbled beneath Ino and she jumped into the sky, lifted by a wind so she was level with the tree tops, just as a hole had opened up beneath her.

"Trying to kill me?" She called from her position in the sky.

"I just might be!" Tenten laughed.

Wind swirled around Tenten, picking up dust and leaves, and it got heavy enough so she couldn't see, and covered her eyes.

She raised rocks around her, to protect her, but it didn't do much good, as she felt a punch to her jaw that sent her flying into one of her rocks.

"Maybe you should've waited till you could see to do that one." Ino called out, panting.

Tenten opened her eyes, and the rocks flew to Ino, who dodged them in a familiar manner from their training in Konoha.

But Ino didn't pay attention to the rocks after they passed her, so she didn't see the large boulder that hit her in the back, bringing her to Tenten's awaiting punch.

At the last minute, Tenten was swooped up by wind, and she lost concentration, dropping the rock that was holding Ino.

Ino dropped to the ground and Tenten fell out of the sky, landing in a heap on the ground.

Ino crawled over to her. "Do I win?"

Tenten nodded, "Yeah, you win." She gasped out.

Anko trotted over and helped Tenten up.

"Let's get lunch and then Hinata and Ino can do their match, then Sakura and Tenten."

As the three walked back to the shade, Sakura and Hinata were clapping. "That was so intense!" Hinata squealed, and got up to help Tenten sit down.

Hashirama smiled at all four of them. "You all did great; I'm very impressed, and proud, for only knowing about your power for such a short amount of time and being able to control it so well."

The four girls grinned and Anko went to retrieve the sandwiches she had made during their training.

They all began to munch on the food as Hashirama began to criticize their technique and what they needed to fix, as well as their control over their elements.

"Ino I don't think you realize how much you can actual do with the power of wind. You can push boulders down mountains, you can create waves as high as the hokage mountain! Think outside of breezes and tornados." He said. Ino nodded her head, thinking about the different things she could do.

As Hashirama was speaking, the girls noticed his strange actions; he kept glancing around and shifting so he could see around them.

"Ah, ano, Hashirama-sama, is something wrong?" Hinata asked, concern strewn across her face.

The elderly man nodded, his eyes scanning the perimeter, I just have a bad feeling. Let's be on the look-out from now on, yes?"

As they nodded, Anko stood, grabbed some kunai, and then proceeded to give a demonstration of the proper way to wield it, and throw it while pushing chakra into the weapon, which was to be their next lesson.

Eyes watched them, carefully concealed in the underbrush.
