Hi everyone. I decided to start another story because I thought it would be a good time. Hahaha lol. Anyways no idea where this story is heading, but we shall see!!! Anyways let me know if you like it or if you do and the only way to do that is to review. Have a great weekend!!

That was the last time she swore, stomping angrily from the crown acrade. It always comes back to the hair she thought. Whenever her and Darien "the jerk" Shields would fight, it always began with her hair. The traditional way, in which she wore her hair, may have though she would never admit it to him did sometimes resemble meatballs. Serena had been so caught up in her thoughts that she had wondered the complete opposite way home. She turned her head and saw a sign for "Deluxe Wigs" and a sign underneath reading 75% off. The idea came to her and she grinned. Darien would pay for all those jokes she smiled smugly as she stepped into the wig store.

She ended up finding a wig that was dark brown, shoulder length hair, which was layered out. It was modern and made of real hair. The lady helped her put it on and she smiled. It looked real and it felt real.

"Perfect. I'll take it." Serena said slipping the wig off her head and onto the counter. She skipped home, happy with her decision. Darien would pay for making fun, she just secretly hoped he wouldn't think it was an improvement.

The next day instead of going right to the arcade she stopped into her house. Luckily her parents and Sammy had gone out of town for two weeks visiting her great aunt, so they wouldn't ask her about the hair. She put on the wig and looked in the mirror. This actually doesn't look too bad for a change she giggled at the top. She could never truly replace her hair. She walked the few blocks to the arcade and opened the door. Andrew looked up from the counter and smiled.

"Hey Serena." He said though the more he looked he faster his mouth turned from his traditional friendly smile to a surprised "O" shape. Darien looked up from his book to look at Andrew.

"What did meatball head do? Is she holding a passing test?" He scoffed. After seeing Andrew shake his head no, he turned to look for himself. There, his meatball head stood, meatball less. His hands started to shake what had she done? Her beautiful sunshine locks in that adorable style was gone. Darien just looked at her and yelled.

"WHAT HAVE YOU DONE?"

"Well," she replied calmly, "I was sick of the way you always made fun of me and the way we fight, so I took away the cause of most of them. If I don't have a meatball hairstyle then we don't have to fight." She smiled sweetly at him. Darien was at a loss for words. She did this because of him? He felt almost sick to his stomach.

"I guess you're right, Serena." Darien said quietly and put some change on table, walking out of the arcade, in a daze. Serena turned to Andrew,

"Now, before you lecture me on insane what I did was, just stop." She said as she pulled off the wig, looking at up at his face. Andrew stared in disbelief, he thought she would crack one day but seeing it was something completely different. Before he could speak, she spoke again.

"I know it seems mean, Andrew. But I can't take the fighting anymore. It's just that...I…I really like him." She whispered, putting her head down on the table. Andrew had suspected this for a long time. But he also knew his best friend felt the same way despite his behaviour.

Across town Darien was walking back to his apartment. He couldn't believe that she had cut off her hair because he had been so mean to her. I sure know how to make an impression he thought bitterly. Starting tomorrow Darien was determined to show her a different side of himself. No matter what it took.

If you like it I will continue. So let me know…. That means review!!!!
